I’m the marketing manager of an education management association.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crux2core?

We were looking to integrate an AI platform into our existing marketing automation tool for certain use cases. We wanted a predictive module that could understand the queries from candidates and give them choices of business schools where they could study.

We needed AI support for this idea because we had a lot of candidate and user behavior data, and it needed to be a very specialized tool because a template such as this didn’t exist in the market.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Crux2core helped us build our solution, and they integrated it into our existing system. They also provided post-delivery support to solve any technical glitches or issues that we encountered.

They had an existing AI-enabled platform, but their services included handling the whole implementation. They assigned an account manager to us, who worked with our technical team to ensure that their platform was well-integrated with our system.

Their solution was redesigned and custom-tailored for our particular use case. During the integration, their account manager helped with the first set of initial candidate queries to see if the engine was working fine. It was end-to-end support.

What is the team composition?

I communicated mainly with an account manager throughout the whole project. Crux2core also provided us with a team of five technical people, including code writers, programmers, and designers. Additionally, another 1–2 people worked on the mobile app side.

How did you come to work with Crux2core?

I found them through online research. I Googled a lot of medium- and small-sized boutique agencies focused on AI, and I was looking for someone local. Crux2core came on top of searches as a specialist in AI tech-based solutions. I interviewed them and liked their portfolio, so I gave them the contract.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $65,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2020–February 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This solution was an important part of our parent project. However, before working with Crux2core, we hadn’t been able to accomplish it. Thankfully, they were able to complete this development, and it has become our company’s central software.

Crux2core was tech-savvy; I had seen some really good testimonials about them online, and they lived up to my expectations. Their technical skills were really good, and the platform worked well. Our global team was very impressed as well because they didn’t think that a project like this could be accomplished at that cost.

How did Crux2core perform from a project management standpoint?

Crux2core used ClickUp, and we communicated via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. However, their account manager was very technical, so their overall communication needed improvement.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Crux2core’s understanding of AI systems and ability to work on small use cases distinguished them from other providers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been great if Crux2core had a support person for communication. Sometimes, things were lost in translation. As I have a technical background, it wasn’t a big challenge for me. However, having a good communicator supporting their account manager during the multi-stakeholder meetings would have helped.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Crux2core specializes in AI enablement. If that’s something you’re looking for, you should definitely go with them; they implemented a solution very well for us. Additionally, having someone on your side with technical understanding to work with them will help you get the most out of the relationship.
