I’m the president of Santander Music Group, a music company.

What challenge were you trying to address with CRIZZ?

We needed help with Android and iOS development to create wellness apps.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CRIZZ has developed and designed all my products. Currently, we’re working on my third mobile app project. They’ve used a large number of technologies for these projects, but I’m not familiar with most of them. I know that they’ve used React and 6–7 other technologies.

The first product that they helped me create is a portal of holistic wellness with content for wellbeing. It provides our users with pre-choreographed exercises, nutrition tips, recipes, wellness advice, meditation routines, and therapeutic music.

The second product is a mobile app for walking and jogging that allows users to exercise and positively impact their emotions and thinking. It has original music that makes the users jog or walk to its rhythm, and while they do it, they also listen to positive-thinking phrases. These thoughts penetrate deeper into the users’ minds because they’re focused on exercising to the music, creating an immersive experience that allows them to enter a meditation state called meditation in action.

The third product is currently in development. However, we already have a working version for both iOS and Android, but we’re going to relaunch a better version on both marketplaces in four weeks. This app is focused on therapeutic music and meditation. It provides music to relax, sleep, concentrate, and energize, using different techniques that target the brain and change its vibration speed.

I’m in contact with Cristiam (CEO & Founder) and an account manager.

How did you come to work with CRIZZ?

I met CRIZZ through word of mouth. People told me that they offered good value for the money.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent $70,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2015, and our engagement is ongoing. Most of the time was invested in the first app, and we’re now in the last part of development for the third one. It has been a lengthy process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

On my first product, we were able to get up to 6,000 users — it was very successful. However, the app was too complex because it encompassed a lot of different areas, and it was hard for people to grasp it. Thus, we stopped promoting that app and decided to spin it into the two others. Now, both of these other apps are in the market, and each of them has between 5,000–10,000 users.

How did CRIZZ perform from a project management standpoint?

CRIZZ’s departments are very well-organized during the whole development process. We work in sprints with a predefined scope of work with very precise timelines and budgets. They’re great at following through, and they tell us how much each step will cost. We’ve only needed to adjust the timelines by 1–2 days.

Although every app we’ve developed has needed debugging, CRIZZ has a complete methodology for it. They have a QA team exclusively dedicated to trying to find errors that could break the apps.

As for communication, CRIZZ provides very personalized service; they are always available and respond quickly. We have a ticketing system and use ClickUp to organize the project. We also communicate via email, Zoom, Teams, and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CRIZZ was recently awarded the best graphic design and software development agency in Colombia, and they always provide me with those two services. They offer great value for the money, providing quality deliverables at an unbeatable price, even compared with companies in the US, Mexico, and Europe.

They’ve developed a very good knowledge and methodology for app development, improving greatly in the last few years. Their designs are elegant, and their ideas are original; I’ve never seen a company that does both so well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I’m super happy with them, and I feel very fortunate to have them working on my projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The ideal customer for CRIZZ is someone who wants to develop an app, including all the graphic design involved. They’re as good in app development as they are in graphic design.
