I am the CEO and founder of a children’s education company. We mail weekly educational letters, crafts, and toys to kids. All our content is licensed, and our goal is to help kids fall in love with learning and reading and promote quality time spent with their parents or caregivers.

We gave Spark Ads access to our social media accounts, and they have helped us generate ads on TikTok. They create videos using the content and information we provide them with. We are also considering engaging Spark Ads to help us with Facebook advertising.

We found Spark Ads through a reference. I spoke with another agency that was having success gaining customers through TikTok, and they referred us to Spark Ads. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We partnered with Spark Ads in June 2022, and the engagement is ongoing. Our projected end date is August 2022. We will reevaluate the partnership and decide whether to continue.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Spark Ads is very knowledgeable when it comes to social media marketing. We have seen an increase in followers and viewers, and we’re happy with the engagement we’re seeing so far. 

They have worked with some prominent brands and have a good track record, which shows in their service. I’ve been pleased with the partnership, and the founder gives good advice.

They’ve been good from a project management standpoint. We typically communicate via email, and then Spark Ads goes into our accounts to complete the agreed-upon work. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am most impressed with how knowledgeable they are. The Spark Ads founder is very passionate about the craft. They were willing to accommodate a smaller brand like us and continue to find creative ways to work with us, which I appreciate.

We are looking to expand our presence on TikTok and looking for help on content generation and paid ad strategies. While we did not end up hiring Spark Ads for the service as they were out of our budget range, Kane offered us extremely valuable insight and helped us come up with a DIY marketing strategy that we foresee would be a feasible course of action for us at this stage.

During our discussions, Kane appeared extremely knowledgeable in the TikTok and content generation space. He also seemed extremely passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about the success of not just his paying clients but of other small business owners such as myself who cannot afford his services yet.

After realizing that we couldn't afford his services, Kane still took the time to help us brainstorm on ways to build out our funnels and how to nurture our customer relationships through email/SMS. He also gave us plenty of vendor recommendations, tricks of the trade and tools that we could implement to get the job done.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we had a Google Meet video call with Spark Ads. They asked us questions about our business and visited our website so they’d have a background on what we were working on. Then, they asked more in-depth questions about what we wanted to accomplish with our content marketing.

They gave us suggestions and examples from companies with similar business models and target audiences. Also, they gave us some statistics that helped us solidify TikTok as the way to go for our business.

A local friend is the owner of Yummy Marketing. He worked with Kane and thought Spark Ads would be a good match.

Our first meeting was in July 2022, but we’re still in communication.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work was excellent. I’m not knowledgeable about this, but I’ve learned now that I’ve talked to Kane — he obviously knew what he’s talking about. Moreover, I was impressed when he was able to analyze our business right from the get-go. He glanced at it and immediately identified similar companies to show us their accounts. It was really cool.

How did Spark Ads perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very professional. We did a video call and shared screens.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very knowledgeable. At a glance, they had enough knowledge about the industry to filter through what related to us and what didn’t. They gave us examples off the top of their head of what would be something good for our marketing. Also, they took small ideas and twisted them into something that could work for us. Overall, it was exciting to see someone in a similar position making money and discovering how it could apply to our company.

Additionally, they were knowledgeable about Shopify. They recommended we use it, giving us many examples and information about it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing at the top of my head. We were very happy with them.

Give them a call and email them ahead of time with examples of your business. Send them your website and show what you’ve made so far so they can do enough research to find examples and related content.
