I am the CEO and founder of a company called Zootom.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Creace Technologies?

We hired Creace Technologies to build an app and website designed to help kids and teens with online safety. We had to go through a lot of negotiations and communications regarding how we were going to design the software, and knew it would be complicated because it uses a lot of different components and features specifically for kids and teens.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creace Technologies designed and built a mobile app and website from scratch using Swift, React Native, and WordPress. They are also offering maintenance. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with Vipin (Project Manager), but they have a team of 12 developers and backend developers who do everything. 

How did you come to work with Creace Technologies?

Vipin is a close friend of mine. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent £60,000 (approximately $68,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in August 2020, and it is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The work is complete, and they did their own in-house testing. The app has been launched and is now available on the App Store and the Play Store. 

How did Creace Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We set milestones at the beginning of the project, and they hit all of those and even went beyond what we’d initially talked about. They provided a high level of communication, and I am very happy with the results. 

To communicate, we used WhatsApp and Google Drive for larger files. They did all the designing, so we used Google Drive to send things like promotional content and design fliers. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a lot of developers in-house, and they work with big brands, which is another sign of the high-quality work they provide. They’re highly professional, and their communication is very strong. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think that they could have done anything differently. They did everything in-house and communicated regularly with me, so I was very happy. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that you’re focusing on communication throughout the process. Communicate with them regularly so that they clearly understand what you’re looking for before they start the project. Make sure that you’re setting up milestones to achieve every step of the way.
