BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m part of a large American elevator and escalator manufacturing company. I’m based in Dubai, and I look after marketing for the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia regions.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with CosmosAds?

They were hired for a specific purpose. We were moving offices and planned to do a lot of graphics, both stickers and office glass. We wanted someone that could go through our brand guidelines and create design files to be printed and put on our walls.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

It started off as just a design contract, but CosmosAds also won the tender for the installation. They’re in the course of installing the designs they created a few months ago.

They took a tour of our new office while it was under construction, and they took some measurements. CosmosAds then showed us a mood board of what they wanted to do, we chose the style we wanted, and we did the designs, wall-by-wall and glass-by-glass.

What is the team composition?

My point of contact has always been Shaheen (Account Manager), but there have been other people present during meetings, including graphic designers and installers. It’s quite a big team.

How did you come to work with CosmosAds?

I went through a purchase process and identified a few vendors. The thing that stood out with CosmosAds was their design quality. We did a complete rebranding 2–3 years ago and adopted a very vibrant brand, with very specific fonts and colors and a clear tone of voice. CosmosAds’ work stood out among the samples provided by the vendors we approached. They understood the language spoken by our brand.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with CosmosAds in March 2020, and the implementation is expected to finish by the end of August.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very satisfied with what they’ve done, and they were very cooperative in learning where the issues were in the instances where we weren’t satisfied. They went back to the drawing board and made sure we’d be happy.

How did CosmosAds perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication is a mixture of official and unofficial channels. Email is a good way of recording feedback and making sure we have something to go back to while discussing things. However, we’ve also had regular site visits, teleconferences, and phone calls with CosmosAds. We’ve had meetings with the larger team in order to make sure we went through all the issues and didn’t have to repeat things. They’re not hard to get in touch with, and they’re available on instant messaging as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CosmosAds was able to provide a quality service that would’ve otherwise cost a lot more than it did.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They had challenges estimating how long things would take.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients should be very clear on what they want and make sure that the CosmosAds understands it. Once goals are set and all the stakeholders have understood them, it’s best not to change those goals mid-project.
