Corven & Ashby is an independent, owner-side construction cost advisory for
US developers, owner's representatives, family offices and construction lenders
running projects on guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and CM-at-risk contracts.
We work only for the owner. We do not price the work, bid, or represent
contractors. Before a GMP is signed, we review the scope, schedule of values,
allowances, exclusions and change-order exposure, and tell the owner where the
real financial risk sits. After signature, we keep an independent owner cost
record through Costwitness, tracking the GMP baseline, change orders,
contingency, buyout, allowances and anticipated final cost month by month.
One independent owner control over a GMP: from the decision before signature,
through monthly changes and drawdowns, to final cost.
