The platform was inspired by best-in-class e-commerce and marketplace leaders such as Booking.com, Airbnb, and Amazon, with a strong focus on usability, transparency, and conversion performance.

The project included the development of the complete customer-facing frontend, a robust backend system, and a full back-office environment for managing listings, orders, and operational workflows. In parallel, the initiative required building a fully capable product organization, engineering team, and operational framework, supported by DevOps to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficient delivery.

Programming an interface between a UHF RFID reader and cloud-based backend software. The interface to the cloud is based on OPC UA. Communication with the RFID reader is based on TCP/IP. The goal was to implement a wireless sensor network solution. Battery-free sensor transponders transmit sensor values to the backend via the RFID reader. In between is the gateway, which organizes and processes the entire data flow. The overall configuration and teach-in of the sensor transponders can be carried out via a web interface hosted on the embedded, industrial Linux gateway device.

Cookielab developed and delivered an excellent software solution within the specified time frame. The end customer, an international corporation, was very satisfied with the overall project, which encompassed more than “just” this software.

Many parents attach aftermarket accessories to their child's car seat to calm and entertain them while on the go. These accessories can become projectiles in the event of a car crash, making an already dangerous situation even worse. Additionally these products lack the flexibility to seamlessly activate as needed. Our goal was to develop a connected infant car seat with integrated soothing technology that is not only safer, but also more convenient than the existing options.
