I'm the founder of Akiba, a platform that helps families plan and save for events.

What challenge were you trying to address with Contract Square UAB?

We wanted to develop our first iOS app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Contract Square UAB developed a mobile app for iOS, including both the frontend and backend. They also oversee the project management and worked in sprints before launching the platform in the App Store. 

What is the team composition? 

We work with 2–3 people at any given time, including Tomas (CTO, Contract Square UAB). 

How did you come to work with Contract Square UAB?

We interviewed many different vendors, but decided to work with Contract Square UAB because their level of expertise and attentiveness stood out. Their engineers seemed more aware and knowledgeable of the latest technologies. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested around $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since November 2018 and continue to work together even though the platform has been completed. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It's too early to report any metrics, but the app has already been very well received by users. We're very excited and optimistic about it overall; they did a great job of implementing all the functionality we wanted. 

How did Contract Square UAB perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform very well. Tomas is very proactive, thoughtful, and easy to work with overall. Their team follows up and stays in regular communication with us. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a strong team of vetted engineers and their approach to project management is very transparent. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take the time to collaborate closely with the team of developers assigned to the project, providing them more information and context, while getting to know them.
