Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

1.1        CS will build and provide a Minimal Viable ESG Platform (MVP) to FP as per the scope mentioned below in 2.2 

1.2        The new ESG platform will cover the following functionality:

1.2.1       View and Edit Client Screen/s:

Ability to add a client + key details and define what these are but general info such as name, address/s, logo, will also need to select client sector.

Ability to add in and edit client members and their relevant details (name, role, site / project if applicable, email, number). Contacts should be easily viewed as there is currently no central CRM system in Futureproof, so we’ll use this as our main contact database.  

Clients will need the ability to edit their own details. Not MVP but it will be good if we can also export out client details in a CSV file.

1.2.2       Add a new report:

Options to select client, select reporting period (will need ability to add in back data too) and select applicable frameworks to be assessed against and materiality topics. Generate bespoke assessment.

The client should only have 1 form to complete based on their reporting year that considers all standards and materiality topics we have pre-selected. This form will configure applicable sections across the different standards and materiality assessment that we select from their settings page.

FP Users will then go in and allocate sections with due dates to client members. Clients should not have the ability to re-assign the sections. There is a need to be able to edit due dates so this can be tracked and automated notifications sent for actions due, overdue actions etc. 

1.2.3       Client and Assessment Screens:

When the client logins they should be easily able to navigate to the relevant assessment. They’ll need to see % completion of the form sections they need to complete (or if they have the right access, to see all this info for their company and who it is assigned to). Would like this to be visual – potentially using traffic light system. There may need to be a ‘My tasks / action’ sections so it is clear what needs to be actioned by them if they have access to all the assessment.

When the user clicks on the section / my actions, the question set will show, client and/or us can enter responses, add documents, save information etc. Would like the ability to add in commentary per question, so if the person is chasing info from a department, they can keep a log of this that can be viewed by relevant persons. Would be good if we can set up notifications to people if they are @ in commentary.

At end of assessment, will need to be able to export information out in excel, word and PDF layout.

1.2.4       View Current and Previous Reports Screen

Ability to upload the sustainability report (produced externally) and view reports and data from previous reporting years. NB: Reporting years are done over two time periods, financial year or calendar year (depends on company).

Not for MVP but a good to have for future, is the ability to add in the draft reports and who uploaded by to remove need for working via emails and give better version control.

1.2.5       Internal Backend Screens

Will need the ability to add, view and edit futureproof users.

Ability to edit questions and dropdown lists if included.

We would love the ability to build bespoke questions for the additional standards. If this is unrealistic in our budget, what might work is the ability to ‘clone’ a framework and ‘edit’ the questions in that to make bespoke. If we did that would need to be able to duplicate a question type and delete these also. Additional complexity within this is that some standards have similar requirements, and we would only want the client completing these sections once to prevent the same information being entered within different forms.

Conso4s took over the development, support and maintenance contract for the Altitude platform from a previous provider in 2024. The scope of work involves optimising the existing application, re-development of some modules and implementing new development initiatives.

Conso4s have been a fantastic and supportive partner. There is timely communciation, support and resoution on queries.

There has been no challenge to big for Coso4s to meet. They're consistently able to meet and exceed all of our development objectives.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Conso4s Ltd could have done differently?

Often UAT is not passed on the first round. There could be better internal testing done from the point of view of how a user navigates the system rather than a transactional step before it is passed on for client UAT. That is often the disconnect when it doesn't pass.
