Greenfuture Energy is a developer of wind and solar power projects focused on the Polish market. We specialise in large-scale photovoltaic and wind installations and the sale of green energy.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Development of a data warehouse that is fed with the following data:

• account entries from accounting software (Wapro Fakir) -manual import of Wapro files by accounting team, once a month or more often as required plus updates;
• documents metadata from EasyDocs -automatically, as soon as the document appears/changes/deletes in EasyDocs;
• history of bank transactions based on daily statements in MT940 format (Santander iBiznes24) -automatically, as soon as the system receives an email from the bank with statement attachments.

The system enable the following operations:

• clear and filtered display of account entries;
• monitoring of the allocation of costs to "fixed assets under construction" accounts;
• breakdown of amounts of one document and allocation to multiple accounting accounts;
• view of bank history for all accounts and companies, search for a transfer by a piece of information, show the state of accounts and bank deposits;
• use of Apache Superset Business Intelligence (BI) software to change and create custom reports.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project enabled the controlling department of our company to track cost allocations in the accounting system, filtering by categories, project companies, creating other cost centres on this basis. This was important due to the large number of project companies. In addition, the bank history module helps keep track of cash balances at all companies, create reports and, on this basis, better manage cash flow.

We had a great experience in terms of project management. They were consistently organized and maintained clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. From the very start, they set realistic timelines and delivered each milestone on time, without any delays or surprises. This was crucial to the success of our project.
