What challenge were you trying to address with Cogniq AI?

We needed help building the core platform for our AI-powered SEO automation tool. The goal was to develop a WordPress plugin and a SaaS backend that could automatically analyze websites and implement SEO improvements like technical fixes, meta optimization, and internal linking. Overall, we wanted a system that could automate SEO tasks while still allowing admin control.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cogniq AI has handled the full development of our SEO automation platform. This includes building the WordPress plugin, developing the SaaS backend, and implementing the AI logic for SEO analysis and automation. The main deliverables have been the working plugin, the backend system, and features for technical SEO fixes, on-page optimization, and AI-driven recommendations. Moreover, the team has been mainly involved in the core development of the platform. They’ve also handled the API integrations between the plugin and the backend, along with basic UI for the dashboard and controls.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since the project is still ongoing, the main progress so far has been the development of the core platform, including the working WordPress plugin and the SaaS backend. We’ve also been able to test several SEO automation features like site analysis, optimization suggestions, and technical fixes, which shows the platform is moving in the right direction. Moreover, during internal testing, we’ve seen a noticeable reduction in manual SEO work, especially for routine tasks. For example, the system can automatically analyze pages and suggest or implement improvements like meta tag optimization, internal linking suggestions, and identifying technical SEO issues. Tasks that normally take a significant amount of manual review can now be handled automatically or with minimal oversight.

How did Cogniq AI perform from a project management standpoint?

Cogniq AI’s project management has been organized and responsive. Communication has been clear throughout the process, and they’ve been delivering milestones on time while keeping us updated on progress and any development decisions. We mainly communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out the most is their strong understanding of both AI and SEO. They aren’t just focused on development but also on how the product would actually work in real SEO workflows. Their ability to turn complex ideas into practical features for the platform is really impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

So far, the experience has been positive. Since the project is still ongoing, most things have been handled well. However, having more structured progress documentation or reporting could make tracking development updates even easier.
