CodinBox

CodinBox is a custom software development studio based in Paris, founded in 2021 and led by Adam Cavillon, its lead developer. We help founders who don't have a technical team, as well as SMEs and creative studios, turn an idea or a manual process into reliable web, mobile and desktop software, and we keep looking after it once it is live.

We cover the whole lifecycle, from scoping the first version together to architecture, development, deployment with CI/CD and long-term maintenance. We work in short iterations with regular check-ins so the vision can be adjusted early, and we provide a test environment where you can try the software yourself before it goes live. When a project calls for it, we bring in the UI/UX designer and project manager we regularly work with.

We have delivered more than 30 projects for over 10 clients. They include a fire-safety compliance software shipped on Windows, macOS and Linux, with licensing, Stripe payments and an AI module that imports AutoCAD, Revit and PDF projects. We also built an education platform on web, iOS and Android that saves each team member more than two days of admin work every week, and an asset management platform for a digital production studio. We also handle the technical side of live gaming events, from custom Minecraft game modes to the server infrastructure behind tournaments played on stage or streamed on Twitch, some of them with thousands of players.

Our usual stack includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Laravel, Java, Rust, Flutter and Tauri, deployed with Docker and Kubernetes. We bring AI into a product when it saves real time, and our AI-assisted development workflow keeps us fast and flexible.
