I'm a CTO at a company that specializes in Blockchain/Smart contract development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codeville, and what were your goals?

We were working on a E2E product in blockchain/DeFi area. Idea was to start with an open-source project and smart contracts and then gradually implement additional features requested by the end client. Codeville helped us with UI and integration part. Design, backend and infra was from us.

How did you select Codeville and what were the deciding factors?

We found them via Upwork, scheduled a small interview and then gave the test assessment to check speed and quality. After the completed the assessment it was clear that they can deliver the whole project timely.

At the beginning of the project we already had a designed confirmed by the end client. There were around 10 unique screens. We requested initial rough estimation of it and were satisfied with it. The client-side part of the project is based on React without any additional libraries. Each time the screen was redesigned, it was uploaded to our server.

The first big step was these screens for desktop view, then there were additional pages added to the project (deviation from the initial open-sourced project) and the final step was polishing and mobile version

Only one frontend developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very happy working with Codeville. They delivered everything as agreed. The first step was done extremely quick which allowed us and the client to have more time for UX improvements and testing. The project is not launched yet (the client wants to fix something by themselves) but it seems very promising.

All our communication was via Telegram, the issues were discussed either directly in Telegram, all later when the client started testing it was first in Google Docs and then in Github issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their quality, speed, and responsiveness are impressive in the workflow.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It was good

I needed to develop an app in Telegram to practice some Dutch grammar rules.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I got an offer from the developer and excepted it.

First, it was necessary to develop the basic structure of the app and to test it. After that we moved to the more specific details (settings according to the language level and section, different types of questions and responses, ratings, usability etc.) It is Telegram-based and provides the learners with the opportunity not only to test their knowledge but also to analyse the mistakes, to study the rules and to get feedback.

I've contacted with just one person.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

More than 1,000 people use this app daily. It's a great result for a Dutch-Russian language app.

The communication was easy. We used videocalls, messages and e-mails. Everything is delivered on time. We keep getting some technical support from the developer even after the end of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Inventing the concept of the language app together was the most impressive for me because my idea of the app was really vague when we started.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really.

The project is ongoing so there is no one outcome, but contact has been good and whenever we need help it is often solved well and quicly.
