Social enterprise tech, building a platform-as-a-service for nonprofits and socially-driven organizations. I am currently the founder of this company.

For what projects/services did your company hire codemonday, and what were your goals?

Our primary vendor wasn't able to fully deliver on the initial scope of expectations, so I reached out to the founder of codemonday to help recover the remains of the initial scope. Initially codemonday was responsible for front-end design, but eventually they covered a self-service system with advanced role-based access controls.

SOLUTION

How did you select codemonday and what were the deciding factors?

Used to work with Codemonday's team at Accenture and knew that the developers were capable, hands-on, devoted, and project-centric.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Initial scope of work was to do front-end design and work on integration with our main vendor. Codemonday then took over that role. From HTML, CS5, REACT, they moved over to helping with the Microservices Controller (JS, Node JS, AngularJ5, GoLang) and helped us on setting up the AWS system (AWS EC2 Instance, AWS RDS, Docker Container).

This allowed us the ability to create new product features (BI Reporting, self-serving functionalities, dashboard analytics, organized reporting placement, etc.) and helped us build our two core products (1) Fundraising and (2) HR Management.

1 Project Lead and 1 Junior Web Developer, both full-stack.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Went beyond expectations, they covered the role of the main vendor who was significantly more expensive and less capable than Codemonday. I was able to recover timeline and business development from Codemonday's support.

Founder is constantly available on all communication channels - LINE, Slack, Email. Also actively conversing back on weekends and holidays.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Turnaround time, responsibility, and work ethic of the team. They were very hands-on, ensuring that we have our products on time. Working team was very friendly and got along well with my working technical team. Founder understood the flexibility of work hours and also went above the initial scope of agreed development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None - I thought the execution was seamless. Our technical project manager and lead developer had a great time working with the team.

We produce digital products for brands and digital agencies. Founded in 2019, we base in Thailand. I am the head of technology.

Sometimes we don't have a slot for some projects. For high priority and complicated projects, we hired Codemonday. 

What were your goals for this project?

In 2015, Thailand didn't have a good e-learning platform so we wanted to build a modern e-learning platform for high school students. It should be an interactive platform. Students can do exercise and check the answer interactively with hints if they don't answer the correct answer. Students can learn from everywhere anytime with automatic authorization after online payment.

I knew the founder of Codemonday at my university so I preferred to use them for my company.

They developed website projects. Almost all projects were designed, developed, and maintained by my team but sometimes we didn't have a workman to developed the project so Codemonday would develop for us. they developed projects from our design on Overflow and Zeplin.

What was the team composition?

The project team had about 5-10 people. Project manager and designer from my team, developers from Codemonday.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project is genuinely the first modern e-learning platform in Thailand. Just few years after google bought youtube, the platform was founded. The platform is truly modern and still modern until this day.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We communicated about the project progress via Jira, Asana, Slack, and Github. They are professional to deliver projects in time and always communicated delays well ahead of time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They fixed bugs or edited something from my feedback very fast, especially compared to other vendors.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They should make documents as much as possible before delivering the project. It helps us to easy to maintain the project.

I am the leader of a digital marketing team at a commercial transportation company in Thailand. Work about find the trend of customer to travel in domestic or neighboring countries and creating content for advertising.

We want to see a statistic of people that become our client group by channel and looking for a travel trend of people.

We selected this vendor based on there technology skill their're using, payment, document and their crystal clear presentations.

We have this vendor to be a intermediate between our marketing team and our customer, create channels from there technologies and shoot advertising and the vendor have to gather any information, log and feedback from customer and creating a overview of any channels that we used to advertise.

We have many teams involved and it was a mess at the beginning but it's better after meeting and talk over.

Since we get overview of there statistic shoot advertising channel from this vendor we're crystal clear to create marketing trend for increasing sale.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

After many meeting we're been through, they friendly to talk on mobile or over working time and yet they always finish their job on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have a lot of knowledge about technology no matter old or new trend. They had a positive mindset throughout the entire project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

According from number of their software engineer, they have too few people and that way they work so hard to finish their job no space for failure or mistake which would take some time to fix it.

The project that i hired Codemoday to work on is not associated with the company i’m working with but rather the freelance project i received from an established customer i used to outsource for.

I had no time to implement the work so i needed the team that i could trust to finish the job with high quality and by the deadline. i found that Codemonday was the right team for the job.

The freelance project that i received as a person, not associated to the company i'm working with, is to create a donation platform for companies to donate any amount of money to poor farmer of Thailand that are in need. Then those companies will receive the receipt that they can use for tax cuts.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal is to provide a donation platform that can receive payments from both credit card and bank transfers. My customer wants it to finish in 2 months with high quality as i've always been providing them when i was a freelancer.

I was trying to find highly professional team with proven recored of high quality works to finish the job. So I started looking by my connection. After been through 3-4 companies' profile and portfolio, i found that Codemonday is the most interesting choice.

so I contacted them then they provide a service that I liked from the start. Well listened team, professional and be able to understand the requirements throughly without hesitation to asking the unclear parts.

The project began with the meeting for requirements discussion. Then they provided a mockup and proof of concept to me. After 1-2 iterations that they provided willingly I gave the green light to implementation. They gave updates of progress regularly and was willing to change the small parts that i'd like to update.

The customer is happy with the final platform. it gives more opportunity to both companies for tax cuts and Thai farmers for a better life.

The management started with clear requirements and UI discussion. So the process of implementation was pretty smooth.

The company consists of two software engineers who have high software development and design skills. Professional and diligent. I felt great care about me as a client.
