I’m the CEO of an artwork services company. We provide artwork services for commercial clients.

What challenge were you trying to address with Code Red Code?

Although our company provides artwork services, we are very technology-enabled. We needed a company that could provide us with custom software development support.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Code Red Code helped us build custom software tools for us to operate our business more efficiently. They developed our website as well as a custom-built tool for our operations team. The custom solution receives orders from our salesforce and translates those into production orders, which we are then able to integrate with our partners.

The technologies they used throughout our partnership included AWS, Ruby on Rails, Ember, and React.

How did you come to work with Code Red Code?

We found Code Red Code through a referral.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January 2012–June 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

During the time we worked together, we experienced over 50% company growth, which was partly enabled by the custom software tool that Code Red Code developed for us. In terms of efficiency gains, the solution also allowed us to save around 50% of our production time.

How did Code Red Code perform from a project management standpoint?

Code Red Code performed well in terms of project management. We primarily communicated through email and Trello.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Code Red Code’s project manager had a great balance of being business savvy and being able to translate our needs into very detailed engineering work, which was very impressive and made them very easy to collaborate with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no complaints. Code Red Code was a great partner.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to be an active partner. Involving them earlier in the process will also allow them to provide you with feedback on implementation that could save you some time and money and produce better results.
