I own an educational software design company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Code n Logos, and what were your goals?

I hired Code N Logos to build me a logo. I contacted them via a chat bot on their Code N Logos site after seeing their Google Ad. They billed my credit card that time as Classicani Innerworks. They sent me a couple of designs, but then super high pressure sold me on needing to have it trademarked for an additional $899 and billed my credit card as Design Web Logic.

At the same time I purchased a logo, they offered a website for less than half the price I would have paid elsewhere, and like an idiot I purchased it. My contact with the company was "Jacob Brown", but my emails always came from austin.sarkozy@ LogoOrb.com. "Jacob Brown" has a strong accent and the ambient noise always sounded like India to me, although he insisted he was in San Diego.

A few other things seemed off: the aggressive sales tactics they use, the sham paperwork I filled out (after asking repeatedly) to get the trademark started, the fact that they could never answer my technical questions. It turns out all of these companies share a common IP address, located in Pakistan. They are all a part of a huge digital design scam run by the same group of scammers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found their ad for logo design via Google Ads, then contacted them via the chat bot on their site, codenlogos.com. The human, "Jacob Brown", I chatted with sent me an invoice via the chat, then called me. He offered a special, one-time-only price on a website that I couldn't refuse (like a dummy). Later he very inappropriately aggressively (he called me multiple times after 10 pm MST to add fees and try to sell me an LLC package) upsold me a Trademark for the logo.

They did send me logo design ideas but never completed any more of the work. Never sent me receipts for my payments and never sent me contracts or discussed scope with me. They could not even answer any of the technical details I asked. And later, I found my logo with only slight modifications in use by another company. They stole it.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Just one. He said his name was Jacob Brown and that he was located in San Diego, but he had a heavy accent and the ambient noise sounded like India. I later learned (from his IP address) that he was located in Islamabad, Pakistan

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I never received a single deliverable I paid for except the logo, and that was stolen from the internet and modified slightly for my company name.

There is no project management at codenlogos.com, unless maybe all of the scammers get together for morning stand up and decide to burn yet another company for too many negative reviews and what to name their next shell.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The scam is impressively deep. They are good at stringing you along, hoping for your products to be delivered. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

These guys need to get real, honest, legitimate jobs and stop trying to scam people out of their hard-earned cash and dreams.

The whole project was a true success! The team was very communicative and made sure that I am aware of everything that was happening in the project. The website was submitted right on time and the quality of the project was ah-ma-zing. I was really satisfied with what was delivered and I honestly can’t wait to work with them again.

• The project was a big success! I was really happy with how everything worked out and how the team made sure that the final outcome has everything that I have requested. I’m utterly satisfied with the team and their work.

Both the team worked greatly! They were on great terms throughout the project and made sure that I feel safe and at peace while working with them

I’m the director of brand experience and public affairs for SAA, the Spondylitis Association of America. We’re the leading nonprofit that supports and advocates for a community of people impacted by spondee arthritis.

For what projects/services did your company hire Code n Logos, and what were your goals?

When I came into the organization, we used a platform that was too cumbersome and bulk for an organization of our size. It was also subscription-based at a high price point. It also wasn’t a platform that most folks use. We needed to migrate to a more universal platform, specifically WordPress that better supported our needs as an organization.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched Clutch and found a list of website developers. We sent the RFP to 12–15 organizations. Based on the returned RFPs with bids, we narrowed our list and interviewed four companies. Following their presentation, we selected Code N Logos.

Code N Logos built a completely new WordPress site for us. They completed the design components too, creating the platform’s UX/UI. Their team implemented e-commerce features, which allowed us to receive donations. We’re a membership-based organization. They carried over the e-commerce functionality that enabled users to sign-up and renew memberships. Previously, we had a static PDF of patient-recommended rheumatologists that we had to manually update. Code N Logos created an interactive directory on our website.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They looked at the project in ways that we hadn’t considered. For example, we engage with parts of the community that may have difficulty accessing content. Code N Logos addressed that in their presentation whereas other vendors that bid on the project didn’t. We have a complex website that has specific needs. They managed all of our requirements and give us a platform that we like.

They met deadlines and communicated well. Overall, their time management was good. Their development team was in Ukraine, which presented a challenge. If we reviewed a task, it could take an additional day before their team did the same.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They’re very good at what they do. It was a complex project, and there was fear in my organization about trying to navigate off of our original platform. Code N Logos gave us what we needed, which was a user-friendly platform in line with our organization’s position.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It was a hurdle to work across time zones. We had to spend more time proofreading the content. When working with an international vendor, those hurdles are expected.
