Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a global platform agency that combines data insights, strategy, design, and development to create engaging digital experiences empowering the success of the world's leading organizations. My position is a Program Director, overseeing a portfolio of clients and projects.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Code Comrades Ltd, and what were your goals?

Working on a next.js headless build with one of our fortune 500 clients that was going through a digital transformation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went through an RFP process to win the work with the company.

This was a large project that started with a large discovery and research phase up front. This was followed by a design iteration which led to a 5 month development build.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team on our end had over 25 people throughout the project and the client we were working for also had over 25 people involved, with 3-4 main stakeholders on the Marketing team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Launching the site allowed for a more streamlined content management process and greatly improved the performance of their website front-end.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had daily scrums and utilized Jira for ticket managements. Slack for communication and Google Drive / Confluence for documetnation.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This was a unique situation as we were just contracting 2 individuals from Code Comrades, but they greatly exceeded our expectations when it came to their professionalism, skillset, and communication style.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some work had to be re-done due to lack of overall technical leadership on the project that was corrected after 1-2 months which led to a greater efficiency.

We had a working backend for our game but we needed frontend. We hired this vendor for creating a front end based on our design team

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have friends in common and they recommended us this vendor

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We created an online bingo game , ready for integration with different online platforms. The main purpose was to make easy user interaction , easy navigation and good backend. Customers can buy desired number of bingo cards and watch their cards activity during the ball drawing. At the end we needed a good statistics and analytics for all the players that have played so far.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

As far as I know - 3 people were working together with us on this project. Mainly front-end.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is not yet released due to regulations and license awaiting

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

This is as far the best management we have worked with. We communicated over Skype. We had meetings every week and they have accomplished every single task and requirement we have made. I was very satisfied with their team — they delivered everything we asked from them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing is - they are responsible , working together as a team , affordable price and basically they are doing great. We understand each other and there is no need to discuss same things more than once

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So far I think they are great team and I do not have any complaints.
