BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am Project Manager for Beaumont Health and was working with the City Of Trenton (Michigan) to develop a logo for our new designation as a Trail Town that was driven by community input.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Cocopine?

We worked with Glen Carrie to create our logo. The concept for the logo was developed by students in our school district via an art contest. Once the concept was selected by the committee tasked with this work, we had Glen elevate the concept into a professional logo that would brand our future work and marketing materials.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a logo that captures our mission to convey a community that embraces its trails and uses them to bring new opportunities to our community. We wanted something that would project us as a friendly place that welcomes and supports our land and water trail users.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We engaged Glen via an online platform that matches nonprofits with experts in the field.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Glen took our student design and listened to the feedback of our team for specifics about what we liked about the concept and what we thought was missing. He then provided several drafts of a design that incorporated our suggestions.

After receiving the drafts, the committee again made suggestions and a final logo was firmed up. He then provided the logo is professional formats that will allow us to scale as needed

What was the team composition?

As far as I am aware, it was Glen only. He is the only member of the team we communicated with.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our committee could not be happier with our new logo. It is crisp, clean, simple and conveys the exact message we wanted.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was flawless. Glen was responsive to all our requests and delivered on schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The ease of doing all this work from a place halfway around the world. And yet, it was seamless.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It could not have been easier and the end product made the entire committee happy!
