Extremely Disappointed – Unreliable and Unprofessional

Our experience with Cloudplease has been extremely poor. We faced constant delays, unresponsiveness, and incomplete work. Communications were inconsistent, and we often waited weeks—sometimes months—for replies or updates.

On her last day, their lead developer informed us that everything was moved to production and asked us to review it—then immediately became unreachable. The handover was abrupt, and her replacement didn’t show up for a scheduled meeting or respond afterward.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Unfortunately, there were no clear measurable outcomes demonstrating meaningful progress or success.
The project suffered from repeated delays, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. Many key features were either not implemented or delivered incorrectly, despite long waiting periods. Even after several follow-ups, many elements remained missing or incomplete. As a result, the project did not meet our expectations, timelines, or objectives.

Project management was poor throughout the engagement.
Deliverables were consistently delayed, sometimes by weeks or even months with minimal communication or updates. Our requests and concerns often went unanswered, and when we did receive responses, they lacked clarity or commitment to timelines. There was no structured approach to project updates, prioritisation, or client feedback. Overall, the service felt disorganised and unresponsive to our needs.

Unfortunately, there was little that stood out as impressive or unique during our engagement.
While we initially hoped for strong technical expertise and efficient delivery, the lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability overshadowed any potential strengths the company may have had.

Are there any areas for improvement or something cloudplease could have done differently?

Yes, there are several areas where Cloudplease could significantly improve.
Timely communication and accountability were major issues throughout the project. We experienced long delays, often waiting weeks or months for responses or basic updates. When issues were flagged, there was little urgency or ownership shown. Clear timelines and transparent project management would have made a significant difference. Additionally, ensuring a proper handover, especially when team members are leaving should be standard practice, not an afterthought.
