First, we had a discovery meeting, where we discussed our needs. Then, they did a mockup, which we loved. Next, they started developing the website using Wipro.

I had contact with their CEO. We spoke once a week.

We found them on Google, and chose them based on their good reviews. I liked the type of work that they did.

We’ve invested 80,000 South African Rands (approximately 4,300 USD).

We began working together in February 2020, and we wrapped up in April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t gone live yet, but we’re hoping their work will have a positive impact on our SEO. The new site gives our company a new image, which is what we wanted. It’ll always help our social media a lot.

They did very well. We communicated over email and in-person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their designs were most impressive. They brought real skills and passion to the table that shows in their work.

No, nothing comes to mind. Everything was done excellently.

I am the owner and founder of Royal Ngala Safaris, and we are a luxury travel company here in South Africa.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cloudfusion?

We were looking for someone in our area to assist us with our online persona, from establishing a website to sending out regular newsletters and other various tasks.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cloudfusion essentially did everything when it came to my company’s digital presence. They started by designing and building a new website from the ground up, focusing on highlighting my wildlife photography in order to encourage people to spend time on the website because they loved what they were seeing.

From there, they also developed a new logo and business cards incorporating those designs and then helped out with creating and managing our email accounts and social media advertisements.

What is the team composition?

I work with Anton (Owner) and a team of more than 10 development and design professionals.

How did you come to work with Cloudfusion?

I originally came across Anton online, but then we sat down for a meeting and we developed an immediate rapport. I felt comfortable with him, so I decided to stick with Cloudfusion.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project first started in December 2018, but we are continuing to work together as we improve the site and keep it up to date.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were able to get me up and running with everything I needed almost immediately, including 3–4 different email addresses and a mailing service for my newsletters. On top of that, the website, logo, and business cards were done within a week, which allowed me to hit the ground running much faster than I ever expected.

From a website perspective, they created something that not only served all of the functions that we required but was incredibly beautiful as well. Even when it was still under construction, the landing page that they created was visually appealing so that people knew what was coming would be even better. We looked like we were ready to go from an outside perspective.

How did Cloudfusion perform from a project management standpoint?

There was never a time when I couldn’t get a hold of them to ask a question or request something for the site, and it seemed like they were constantly working on my project, even though they have a lot of other clients.

Initially, we communicated over email, but once we settled into the partnership, we decided that it was easier to use WhatsApp. I was able to text or call them anytime, and they were always incredibly responsive to whatever

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cloudfusion really is engaged in the work that they're committed to doing for you. They took such an interest in the site once we had already paid the deposit; they loved the project so much that they did a lot of extra work and added features that other people wouldn’t without charging extra. I was very fortunate in that sense. Not only that, but they studied my business in order to personalize the content to my specific business.

My job is hospitality, so I deal with a lot of VIP clients including sports stars and celebrity actors on a regular basis. So, for me, guest relations and services are everything, and I couldn’t have worked with a better partner in terms of representing that in my online presence. Anton would contact me on the weekends letting me know that he had an idea and was working on it in his spare time. It really was incredible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I couldn’t recommend them more than I am. There’s nothing I wish they had done differently.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you haven’t used Cloudfusion, you’re missing out. Don’t worry about the budget you have, because they will meet you wherever you’re at and will give you the best value for what you are paying.

I read a lot of forums, asked a lot of friends, and did a lot of internet research. The main reason I chose Cloudfusion is because of the features that they offered. They are the only hosting provider in South Africa that has a content delivery network (CDN) service. All the testimonials and reviews were very positive from a service and technical point of view.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent less than $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in June 2017 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve noticed massive improvements in Cloudfusion’s support and service level. I haven’t had any significant downtime to mention. In an isolated case, maybe once or twice over the period of 3.5 years has there been downtime. Whenever I have to upgrade or have any support questions, they respond almost immediately. I’m very happy with Cloudfusion and don’t think I’ll go to anyone else anytime soon.

How did Cloudfusion perform from a project management standpoint?

I like that I work with the same person time and time again if I have an issue or a ticket request: it adds that personal touch. They’re professional and respond in a very timely manner. I’ve not had any issues having to wait. They keep me updated on the project. If there was a problem with my internet connection, they resolve the issue almost immediately.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cloudfusion is quite innovative in their ability to offer what’s being offered on a global scale.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they could contact me directly and personally to offer me something that may enhance my business, my online reputation, my uptime, or the speed of my website. I’m not the expert in that and I’d like them to provide that to me.

Our business is online. Without a website, we do not recruit any new customers or sales. This project might have saved our business.

Our interaction with Cloudfusion had only been remote as we are located in France and they in South Africa. A dedicated consultant from our company side oversaw the implementation and build of our ERP system. We’ve had flawless collaboration between Cloudfusion and my consultant. Cloudfusion is always willing to do things to meet our needs and wants.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their flexibility stands out most to me. Cloudfusion bends when we need them to and accommodates all our requests. They are diligent, fast, and always available for advice and guidance. There are not many people that reply to a business email at 5 PM on a Saturday.

They’ve delivered effective and efficient web hosting and development. I was not disappointed! The service was and still is impeccable. I feel like they're family!

The workflow is excellent. They always go the extra mile.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I’m very impressed at how friendly they are and how they’re always happy to help and assist where they can. In general, their turnaround time is also very quick, and they’re very good at what they do.

I've had them on call in the middle of the night with deadlines, and they've assisted without hesitation as if we're on the same team and have the same client. It is such a pleasure to work with Cloudfusion. They’re not afraid of hard work and always seem to put my needs first.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Quoting can sometimes be done faster, I suppose. But that is definitely also my fault, as I've had them quote on a lot of other jobs that have not followed through. But in general, no, I can't think of any improvements to be honest. They really give it their all.
