We made as many changes as necessary since my marketing manager worked closely with their very understanding project managers. Believe me, the quantity of parties engaged resulted in several modifications. They set up Zoom sessions to discuss our issues and work together to make the necessary adjustments if we ran across problems or needed clarity. The finished animation effectively communicated our message to the intended audiences and was visually captivating.

The team at Cloud Animations outlined the animation workflow and kept us informed throughout the production. My marketing manager directly coordinated with their incredibly accommodating project managers, allowing us to make as many revisions as needed. Trust me; we had a lot of revisions because of the number of stakeholders  involved. Whenever we faced challenges or required clarification, they /organized Zoom meetings to address our concerns and collaboratively finalize the changes. The final animation was visually immersive and quite effective in conveying our message to the target audiences.

Cloud animations was responsible for developing 5 videos that described vignette cases related to challenging topics that refugees in the US face including bullying, illness, parent arguing, sibling issues. Cloud animations did not develop content or scripts and only would develop story boards and voice overs related to the content that was culturally specific to Afghan refugees specifically.

The project manager was very communicative and delivered on time and was consistent. He was also very responsive to email and to needs of our team when we had to wait to get community feedback. When we had cultural feedback, the project manager responded in a strong way to help our team trouble shoot the best path forward to completing the project

I think they had a strong project management structure.

It would have been beneficial to meet with the animators themselves rather than always going through the project manager as it would have saved a lot of time rather than always using the project manager as a middle man. It was also clear to our UI/UX team that Cloud Animations used multiple animators so we had issues with consistency across videos due to the changing animators. We felt we had to really communicate cultural nuances of the characters multiple times because of this.

The end goal of the project is an explainer video for a very technical technology concept that is easy to understand for a non-technical audience. The video needed to: 

1. Describe the use case and end market 
2. Identify the problem 
3. Introduce/describe a new technology concept 
4. Present the value proposition of the new technology concept and how it compares with the incumbent technology.

To complete the project (complete video) required storyboarding, graphics generation, script, audio voice over, and several iterations of each component.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The end outcome is the video that met my requirements. Nathan Craigson, the project manager, was professional, responsive, and patient throughout the project, which took more time (not due to Cloud Animation) than we both expected.

Nathan did a very good job describing the entire process, from storyboarding through video production. He was responsive via phone calls, emails, or virtual meetings. Timelines for deliverables were well- communicated and on time. If not able to deliver on promised timeline, Nathan made sure I was aware.

We found them online, looked at their sample work, looked at reviews. Then we exchanged a few initial emails with them and found them to be prompt, efficient, and professional in their responses and processes.

We gave them all the details and overview of what we wanted, they created a storyboard, we came back with edits and revisions, they sent us the new storyboard, we approved, the moved on to animation and narration of the script we provided (we chose to write our own script), we revised the final version a bit, and then we had the final file in our hands. Very efficient process.

We worked solely with an account manager, who was great. I appreciated only having to liaise with one central person.

The deliverables were all met very quickly and efficiently. They were always happy to fix/revise any small thing, and were always easy to communicate with.

Our approach to digital marketing revolves around 5 main pillars. Within these pillars are strategies and tactics that we customize based on the clients needs. The world of digital marketing changes quickly and is often times hard to keep up with. We needed an easy way to convey our approach to this changing landscape.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We knew we wanted to do a whiteboard animation style explainer video. There were many options and after much research and internal discussion we ended up working with Could Animations. Their finished product matched what we were looking for and their turnaround time and cost was perfect for our project.

We initially signed up for 5 videos. The process involved our team providing written scripts for each video, a brand guide and any visual elements that we wanted consistent across all videos. Cloud Animations provided an initial style proof based on our script. Most of the time we were able to agree on the style within 1 round of revisions.

From there, the animation and voiceover process started and we had first draft of the finished product within 2 weeks or less. A couple of our videos needed further revisions and Cloud Animations was able to make those and return the video within 24 hours or less. We were very impressed by the efficiency and ended up signing up for 5 additional videos, for a total of 10.

We worked with Phil on each video and his responsiveness and attention to detail was amazing. He made sure we were satisfied and kept things on track.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The response to the videos has been positive so far. We plan to use the videos in various marketing campaigns going forward. Right now, they are all on our website, YouTube channel and social media pages.

The project management style is informal, efficient and very detailed. Most communication was done via email and if I took longer than a couple of days to respond, I would get a reminder email from Phil, which I appreciated.

Cloud Animations created a two-minute explanatory animation video to explain to pool professionals why they should shop at our virtual supply store. The team handled every aspect of the project, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, and animation. We had plenty of opportunities for revisions.

We showed the video to many people inside and outside the industry, and the feedback was phenomenal. We haven’t published the video yet because we’re still under production. Their team filmed for three days, completed 14 testimonials, and put together 16 videos. The videos are client testimonials that we use to increase the awareness of our company and sales. Cloud Animations also put together a sizzle reel, highlight reel, and footage of our CEO discussing a product.
