Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Rocket Farm Studios, an app development consultancy. We help startups and big companies connect big ideas to the market. I also own Winebars, a consumer goods company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chris Costa Media?

We hired Chris Costa Media to provide our video production needs. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chris Costa Media already completed animations and long-form videos for us, and they continue to provide the same services. Their main work involves conceptualizing ideas, generating storyboards, and directing films for us. Additionally, the films they produce are also featured on our social media platforms. 

What is the team composition?

We work closely with Chris (Owner). 

How did you come to work with Chris Costa Media?

They were referred by another vendor of mine.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve already spent $5,000–$10,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started collaborating with Chris Costa Media in March 2019, and the work is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They already created successful videos for us. There was a time when they developed three outstanding Kickstarter videos for us to drive interest and traffic across our YouTube and other social media channels. Currently, we still get views from those videos and it’s all featured in our website. Overall, they always try to make things better. 

How did Chris Costa Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They have excellent project management services. To communicate, we use Slack all the time and Airtable to manage things.

They work hard and produce amazingly fast. We can always count on them to continually deliver within a reasonable timeframe. Moreover, they are open to feedback and whenever we have revisions, they turn in things quickly.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s their ability to turn rough ideas into something great that makes them impressive. They also give a lot of direction in terms of tackling our projects with creativity. 

They’re always getting better all the time and we just love working with them. Furthermore, we can see that they are gaining more skills in animation and video production and we trust that they’re only going to get better.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We have no suggestions on areas they could improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come with ideas and with a timeframe in mind. Additionally, put your trust in them, and eventually, you’ll get what you want.
