We wanted a series of videos to describe who we are as a company, what services we offer, why people should work for us, and why people should support us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chezy Video Co. came out for two days and shot a variety of footage. The first day, they shot many interviews with clients, staff, and guardians. The second day, they shot footage at a client’s house, at the park, and then they came to our client appreciation picnic and shot a lot of B-roll there. The team handled all aspects of the videos, including filming, editing, and creating the final productions.

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, and they offered good value for the cost.

We worked together from August–September 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used the videos for many different reasons. We put them on social media to help recruit staff, inform the public of our services, and show why they should support our cause. Besides social media, we also used them in emails and other communications. The traction on social media was great. We had a lot of interaction with our posts with likes, comments, and shares.
I remember the week I put some of the videos up on our social media channels, we definitely saw an increase in applications. Our supporters loved seeing the people we support and what we do behind the scenes to make a positive impact in their lives, and these videos accomplished that. I also received some emails and messages from people who loved the videos and said how much they loved seeing the people we support in the videos and helping spread our mission.

Chezy Video Co. was very organized, and I always felt like we were on the same page with them. With shared documents for scheduling interviews to knowing exactly what to expect when they arrived on the shoot days, I was never unsure about how the day would go.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I always felt like they took our suggestions and ideas into consideration. They never once said no to trying to achieve everything we asked for. I appreciated that working with them felt more like a partnership.

I can’t think of anything.

I’m the owner of You Flourish, a speaking and coaching business. We host an annual women's event that has over 300 women attend.

We wanted to level up our annual event because video can really take an event from being average to being extraordinary. The reason we hired Chezy Video Co. was to add a wow factor and legitimacy to our event to make it look more professional. Also, people's attention spans these days are so short that I find adding in video can really help to hold people's attention as an alternative way to connect with you during an event.

Chezy Video Co. has helped us from start to finish. They’ve made videos to help us market the event, videos for us to play during the event, and they’ve also taken content from the day of the event and created post-event videos so that we can share on social media and with our sponsors what happened. The team has made speaker videos, marketing videos, pop-up videos for during the day, explainer videos during the event, promotional videos so I can promote a program during the event, and recap testimonial videos.

Many people have shared that adding video to our event has immensely leveled it up. The cost of the marketing content was impressive. Chezy Video Co. could produce affordable videos and content quickly. The shelf life of the marketing content was longer than most, and they were also able to edit many of the marketing files to create multiple marketing videos.

The project was focused on highlighting our 10th anniversary. Interviews with key staff, board members, current students and their literacy coaches during tutoring sessions, and the founder and executive director with her son Haley, the reason the non-profit was started. Impactful testimonies from current students, including adults, on how literacy changed their lives.

Haley's Hope was finally able to tell their story and share it with a wider audience through the videos. The video and clips have been used several times over the years, creating a long-lasting impact.

I can't remember all the specifics, but generally, they made our first time shooting a video seamless. They provided guided scripts, template of who/what/when we shoudl have studnts and other key peopel ready to be interviewed. Really, all we had to do was show up! The fial product required limited editing,( from my point of view) and we were provided several clips to share our story. I can't say enough about the professionalism and easy working environment Chezy provides their clients.
