After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, we received initial design ideas and website mockups. Once we chose a theme, they started creating the designs in Figma. We were able follow the progress and comment easily or answer any questions they had. The general website was implemented by Celeart in Wordpress.

The webapp designs were handed over to our own developers for implementation. We had the chance to questions things that were hard to implement, and they refined their designs accordingly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our developers were able to implement their designs easily. Our new website and branding has been well received both internally and by our users. We implementation of the webapp designs is ongoing. The "network" and "understanding biology" theme has made our website stand out.

The project manager was easy to work with and communicated very well. We had video calls with screen sharing in the early discovery stages and then regular communication in Slack through out the entire process. We used Figma to comment directly on designs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was blown away by their expertise in branding and product design. They are cutting edge and aware of latest trends, and don't mind to go the extra mile to develop something unique.

First, I had to send over what pages I wanted, the content, and some examples for how I wanted it to feel. CelerArt was able to provide multiple sketches in Figma before anything was developed. Once everything was approved, CelerArt got straight to work in getting everything developed in the quickest manner. WordPress was used as our CMS.

We received great feedback from the website that CelerArt created from us. Every project that CelerArt has designed and developed has been fantastic.

We needed someone to help us with design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve done 25 projects with them. We’ve created a pitch book with them for venture capital funds, as well as created the UX design for several platforms. We’ve also done UX design for the iOS and Android apps. They developed a brand book and several logos as well for our business.

Initially, we wanted to create something special for the venture capital pitches. We wrote all the text, and CelerArt created the design for the pitch book. It’s a pitch deck of nine slides, and they integrated all the design and came up with the pictures and everything to present the information.

We also approached them with other ideas. For example, we wanted to create a landing page and told them what the UX should be like. We gave them all the authority to provide the whole design. After they provided the design, we commented on it, and they made improvements until the product was perfect. Then, we deployed it.

Everything has been very intuitive, which is why we’ve done so many projects with them. They deliver everything we imagine even above our expectations. We will continue working with them.

The owner acts as our director and gets all the projects from us. We discuss it, and he delegates to his other colleagues. They’re always on point with deadlines. The communication is good as well; they’re always available. We communicate via Skype and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s difficult to find a company like CelerArt because they actually focus on design. Usually, outsourcing companies have designers in-house that go along with their development team package.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had one incident where a backup of the source file got lost after six months. They were willing to reimburse it or recreate the designs. The only improvement is that they store the source file in a safe place.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You should set a budget upfront. Usually, designers can work on a per hour basis, or, you can set a fixed budget. I’d encourage every customer to set a fixed budget so they know how much they will be spending.

Their sense of design is unrivaled, and their project management capability is excellent. We tend to be very demanding with our requirements and observant of small details, but they worked diligently without complaints until the quality of their work matched our high expectations.

We had finished a branding exercise with another agency and were looking for someone with deep expertise in making that brand a reality on the Findest website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We came to Celerart. with a very thorough idea of what we wanted and how we wanted things to be laid out. Vad heard us out and took the brief on board. He offered how to make those wants and desires for structure and design even better. Celerart. put together basic proposals for the layouts and animation potentials. Once approved, the team filled the design out and presented us with a myriad of options for each page. Over a short period, we were expertly guided to the best possible option for each page.

Then, the team nailed the animations and helped build this vision into Webflow, delivering a fully functional CMS, beautiful animations, and a site that is so delicious you’d want to lick it. The main deliverables included designs, animations, website development, CMS readiness, deployment, bug fixes, and mobile versions.

What I loved equally as much as the job completed by celerart. was their desire to go above and beyond by helping iron out the last 10% even after going live. Maybe an element or two didn’t look as good in the context of being live, or there was a miscommunication on the client side. They were there to help us polish and perfect.
