In the pandemic when the events industry was closed, Capital numbers stood by us. Tulika Sikdar from CN has been amazing and so patient. She understood our vision and helped turn it into reality

Capital Numbers were fast in communicating, very customer focused. They fully understood our brief and very understanding and patient. Most of all they had the skills and the quotation was fair and reasonable.

They are very patient and flexible. They were amazing, and they genuinely care about their customers. I will be starting a new project with them soon. They are very helpful. Even though we are based in the UK, we fully trust Capital Numbers

Not really. If we gave any feedback they acted swiftly to correct anything, which was rare.

We needed to augment our development team quickly for work on the development of our Loan Application platform

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Capital Numbers after vetting almost 11 market leaders. It took us almost 3 months to do extensive market research, analyze cost, review terms and conditions, and also interview references and developers. The deciding factors were the cost, good references and the quality of developers

Currently we have 11 developers and 2 test engineers working full time for the team. This is a staff augmentation model and we consider them as part of the bigger team onsite. The developers are part of the broader SDLC process and are involved in analyzing requirements and writing code.

There are 2-3 rounds of interview. The initial screening is a 30 minute round by the hiring manager that focuses on communication, problem solving and analytical ability as well as overall technical knowledge. The second round is a more in depth technical round with a panel of lead developers. Sometimes, there is a third round where we provide a question to be solved by the interviewee prior to an interview.

The relationship has been successfull and we started with 3 developers and today we are close to 15. The team is planning to grow more in the coming months.

The workflow has been smooth with team leads on both ends communicating a lot and instituting several processes to enhance code quality and delivery of projects

The most unique thing is their importance on the relationship. They are willing to work with us closely. Whether it is for hiring new people or making changes in the team or getting creative about providing incentives to the team. There were times when the CEO himself would screen resumes for us. They were very easy to talk to. Everything was very straight forward with them. No cutting corners or hidden prices. Very efficient and transparent team. Regardless of the time difference, they would respond to emails within minutes.

We are still in the process of cleaning the data on the website and getting all the products up on the website, the website is not yet published.

The communication was excellent from the team. We would receive daily updates from the developers, and we would also hold weekly team meeting to ensure we were on the right track. Any delays or change of course in the project, the team would contact us in advance to let us know.

They've provided a very professional-looking site, though it is not yet complete at this time.

Communication tools was email and a personalized web portal. The style of the Project Manager was very accommodating. He was always on the call to ensure the information was relayed clearly and ensured I received what I requested.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The majority of their processes were smooth and our communication was frequent.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When determining what I was supposed to pay for I needed to have a clearer understanding. Also, in order to ensure deadlines are not missed, there needs to be meeting notes and set time frames for when you will meet either on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Worst Experience Ever! An 8 week website development project has been going on now for about 21 months. The development team was completely out of its depth from day 1. The site still has bugs which means I cannot (still) move to the marketing stage. I have elevated disputes to Shovan and Ani - and they simply ignore everything.

Terrible to see a CEO hide from problems like this - says it all about the internal culture. I have been involved in website development projects for 20 years and this is by far the worst performance on any project I have been on. Second to none. Unacceptable, unprofessional and excuse after excuse.

Management was terrible. I raised conerns about the team's ability in week No 2. It was clear that there was no way the project would be completed on time, and that the development team of 1 person would was far too small for a project of this type. Equally, it was clear that the deveolper (who was a nice guy to be fair) was out of his depth. Yet, management did nothing.

Over and over again, I raised complaints. Noting was done. It was clear that management did not understand the project and did not want to know. When the issue was elevated to Ani, the CEO, he was terrible. He made absolutely no effort to help matters. It was simply excuse after excuse. So long as he got paid - he didn't care. They are ignoring client complaints because you have been paid! They really have terrible customer service.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Absolutely nothing. Terrible experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes - put a proper development team on the job; and have a management team that cares about customer satisfaction. I would really avoid this company. Stop ignoring client complaints - simply because you have been paid!

The costs were much more reasonable than on-shore teams or in-house teams. The ability to scale part time or full time resources and not be contractually obligated for long periods was a plus

The developer i started working with was top notch and would think of creative ways to achieve our goal and then some. He was often thinking one step ahead and designing for future scale and maintenance while also keeping the guest experience in mind and prioritizing that

I found them through both referral and online. Initially cost was the appealing factor, however the ability, skill and professionalism of the Capital Numbers team was the ultimate deciding factor in choosing them.

To describe the scope of work in detail here would not be enough space. We had a thoroughly thought out idea and a very comprehensively designed project. What we needed were the digital skills of a very talented team who could understand the complexity of what we were trying to achieve and could deliver it seamlessly. The project went from scope, to build to design and test. Every stage of production was mapped out in a timeline and every deadline was met. I am not a technology person, but whatever we needed the team had the knowledge skills the project required.

There were 6 core people in the Capital Numbers team. There was initial business contact who organised the quote and response to our brief and then once awarded the project went on to build the team. This team included a producer or production lead who managed the entire build as well as a number of designers and developers.

It's a touch too early to talk about results, however what i will say is that the team have over delivered on every occasions. Every deadline has been meet and, more importantly, every potential problem has been quickly solved.

Capital numbers used teamwork for us all to work through which was handy. I would add we have hardly had to use it as the entire process has run so smoothly. The team and in particular the project leader Tulika has been excellent to work with.

Total professionalism in everything they have done for us. Whether it be the timelines of response to the way they've tackled problems.

To be honest this, because of the Capital Numbers teams professionalism has been the most hands off project of this scale Ive been involved with. Nothing negative to say at all.
