What was the scope of their involvement?

Capgemini does mobile app development for us using technologies like AWS and Trello — the platform is a loyalty and rewards system for Android and iOS.

We’ve been working with their VP, lead architect, an account manager, a development team, and a QA specialist.

How did you come to work with Capgemini?

They were already working with my company when I took my former position.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent at least $10 million with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our app ratings increased thanks to their work.

How did Capgemini perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good. Regarding tools, we’ve used Jira, GitHub, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work over the weekends if necessary without charging extra. They also work super hard when we’re in the deployment and release phases.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should learn how to say they’re unable to deliver something — Capgemini’s team agrees to everything we ask them, but sometimes they have too much work and can’t meet timelines.

Be clear with the timelines and the amount of scope of the project.
