Our main objective was to make the most of our Google Ad Grant to drive awareness and conversions for our donation and tax-redirection campaigns. The clearest outcome of Canopy’s work is a strong improvement in our conversion rate year over year, alongside better and more stable visibility for our campaigns. Canopy has identified and corrected a bidding issue that had been holding the account back, and the recovery in performance is visible in both our conversion metrics and the quality of traffic reaching our donation and redirection pages. The most notable result is a 168.04% increase in the conversion rate compared to the previous year.

Honestly, there’s very little they can improve. If anything, given how much value their strategic insights bring, we would benefit from even more frequent strategic check-ins during our peak season so we could react together to changes in real time. However, it’s a minor point and not something that affects the overall results.

They exceed the target 50% of the time, meet it 30% of the time, and don’t reach it 20% of the time. However, they put hard work to make the hard periods with lower ROAS better year over year. Our target ROAS is 7, and the highest ROAS we’ve achieved is 29.
