Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the producer at a Hungarian advertising agency. I organize all TV, video, and print commercials for the production department.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cabbage Film Factory?
We’ve worked with them a couple of times, mostly on TV commercials. For one of the commercials we hired Cabbage Film to help us with, we needed to deliver within a week and on a very limited budget.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cabbage Film has worked on multiple projects for us, and they’ve taken care of both filming and postproduction. I’ve also involved them at the preproduction phase, during which they help recruit directors and other staff. The team does 2D and 3D design and animation, and they handle more difficult 3D object creation.
What is the team composition?
I was only in contact with 1–2 people from the production side, but that was my decision. I could’ve had the whole project managed through one producer from their side. Instead, I served as the line producer myself and got in touch with each department separately.
How did you come to work with Cabbage Film Factory?
We have production house standards, and I always have to find the best option in terms of budgeting. I was looking online and tried to find out what my options were, and that’s how I found Cabbage Film Factory.
How much have you invested with them?
Altogether, we’ve spent 50 million Hungarian forints (approximately $169,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our first project with Cabbage Film in February 2017. We don’t have anything ongoing at the moment, but I go to them whenever I have a question about production. They’re always happy to help, and they treat me like a partner. I can always rely on them to help, no matter how minor my questions are. Our last project wrapped up around three months ago.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The people working there are very skilled and know exactly what the client wants. We can fully rely on them, from preproduction to delivery.
How did Cabbage Film Factory perform from a project management standpoint?
It has all gone well. They’ve met all of the timeframes, and we haven’t had any problems maintaining the time or budget scope.
They have an on-site sound recording studio, a filming and photo-shooting studio, and a separate department that deals with media delivery. They use their own technology. They also have a cinema room with huge screens. Basically, we just went there, and they did everything for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I would recommend them because they can easily adapt to any kind of production budget or framework. One of their advantages is that they’re a full-service production house, and they have everything in place. They can easily manage any production on their own.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could take on more international projects, but that’s probably out of their scope. That will come in time, but they might find it hard to keep up with all the work.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
This doesn’t just apply to Cabbage Film Factory. I think the production house should be involved as soon as possible, even at the storyboarding phase, in order to deliver the film within time and budget.

We had been issued a very strict deadline by yhe channel, and Cabbagewere very accommodating and worked to get us great results with little time.

Dealing with Cabbage, Szabi in particular, has been a delight! Communication was thorough and clear (even replying in English - thank uou for that). All assets were delivered promptly and of a high quality!
