Our goal was to cut through the noise effortlessly and get our message across in the minimum possible time. So, we tapped team BuzzFlick to share a proposal and initiate the creative process for the job.

• We knew from the start that we were eyeing for something that could infuse the concept in the mind of the prospect with a lot of ease. A 3D explainer was always on the cards.
• So, we started reviewing a bunch of competitive 3D production teams, and aligned meetings for our team with their creatives to discuss the scope of the job in great detail. We went across multiple listings and even went as far as checking out portfolios of multiple video partners
• We decided on handing the job to team BuzzFlick as they had piled up similar projects. And, had offered a much more convincing proposal. We shortlisted them for the job on the basis of quality, budget and expertise of producing similar videos (under our budget).

My team partnered with the production manager. He lined up the creatives on the project in a swift fashion. The feedback process was efficient courtesy of the production manager who served as a bridge between us and the artists working on the project. We started off with the scripting, and gradually moved on to storyboarding and asset production, which was a time intensive job. Since it was a work on 3D then, asset development can take time.

With a couple of revisions going back and forth, we moved on to storyboarding. I’m glad how the artists from the team gave their insight with every stage of the production process. The creatives were delighted to share their experience and enhance the quality of the work as and when required. Lastly, we moved on to the animation and render phase. Again, being the most critical part of the job, this took most of our time. I found the team flexible to do our revisions on our request, which was fine.

We were more satisfied with how they created assets and invited our feedback every now and then, especially they wanted us to give them a green signal on how visual elements sync with our branding. We were also satisfied to see that no pre-made templates were suggested to wrap up the work in a rush.

They did pretty much everything from scratch. Project management was agile, open to feedback and always there to help. Rescheduling meetings was not a problem. And, we received updates on our work in a proactive fashion.

Are there any areas for improvement or something BuzzFlick could have done differently?

I can’t think of anything that could have happened differently for us. For one 3D production is always time taking. Yet, there is always a chance to finish the job beforehand. Which I won’t prefer over the quality we got in the end.

Then they had the storyboarding artists collab with us. After we had approved the storyboards, we were kept in the loop with the team for the final render. After a couple of revisions, the final product was ready to launch.

They started with an interview of what I was doing, and background on how I came up with the name of the company and what message I wanted the logo to convey. The next step was to design a few different options and styles for me to choose from, which I did and then we modified them based on color scheme I wanted Finally they submitted the logo for review, I wanted one last edit, which was completed by the next day. Logo was exactly what I wanted.

3 different people from the vendors team, first was Rachel who introduced me to the team who would be working on my project, then there was Zack who was the account manager, and a designer who I dont remember his name.

We interviewed multiple editors and firms but we chose them because of their full understanding of exactly how to execute what we needed. Execution was key to me making my decision.

We an interesting time with the client during the script writing process with multiple changes at numerous times that were not ideal for the editing process. We had some "higher ups" that chimed in late in the process which caused some major changes to be needed but the team was on it and crushed every aspect of it.

I worked with Zack and Azlan and both were diligent, gracious, and completely "all in" on every step of the process. Even with the challenges we faced they continued to go through the production with smiles and excitement to get it just how the client wanted. Phenomenal! The client used numerous production companies before and has never been able to get a end product that all divisions liked or were happy with. This time each department and division head was extremely happy and overly excited about the end result.

Each level was discussed, monitored, executed and communicated quickly and efficiently. I am very impressed with the detail of progress each week as well. Even when we were waiting on the client they would always check in to see if there was anything they could do to help or if there was a call they could jump on to assist.

They knowledge of the quickest way to execute the clients needs was very impressive. They always brought ideas to the table to help the project move forward quickly. They truly made me look good!

After some time of rigorous quality matching with other available companies, my company decided to work with Buzzflick because of their proposed price for the work, as well as their structured production philosophy, project steps, and production stages.

The video is an animation showcasing our newest product. The process begins with storyboarding, and scriptwriting, done by me. The next steps are more collaborative, with the majority of the work being done by Buzzflick. They rendered the unit in a 3D space, and used the model to fill in the visual portions of the storyboard. When the model and the storyboard were approved, Buzzflick began animation. The stage we are currently in.

I worked primarily with Azlan. He is an excellent communicator and coordinator. He is detail-oriented and does not offer more than Buzzflick can provide, which I appreciate. The team has been incredibly quick between iterations, and it is usually my team that takes the longest between each sprint, due to marketing and legal qc's. Within days of passing the ball to the buzzflick team, they have implemented all the feedback and are ready for the next sprint.

WE have not achieved success yet, as the project is still in progress, but the progress has been great, and the team has been great to work with.

The storyboard looks really impressive. They provide very sleek and accurate renderings in a really quick turnaround.

Having a file share system would be great, so each side could see all the files that have been shared and upload large reference documents instead of doing everything on email.
