How did you select Bumu Digital?

We met BUMU Digital's partners at Kolektif House in which we had our digital teams office and we were impressed by their perspective, besides their productive and cooperative attitude. They've gained our trust. We are very happy that we've trusted them.

When we met Bumu Digital, we were in need of an agile design team. We had been working on the mobile app development project for a while and our deadlines were very close. Bumu team have adapted into our large team very fast and we started running sprints. In each sprint we focused on one subject, diving into details and problems and generating solutions and testing interactive prototypes with potential users.

How many resources from the Bumu Digital team worked with you, and what were their positions?

1 Project Manager, 2 UI Designers and 2 UX Designers worked on our project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After we launched the app, we have received very positive feedbacks from our customers. They were very happy with our new mobile app which resulted in 4.9 iTunes App Store rating.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were definitely like a part of our team. We had a very large product team of around 25 people and BUMU Digital team was very good at communicating with the right contact to get the answers or the help they needed, instead of boring everybody with long meetings. They came to our office every week and worked with our development team to make sure everything is going according to the plan.

Thereby, although we were behind the schedule when we first met them, we were able to complete the project on time, thanks to BUMU Digital. They were fast responders to anything we needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were diving deep into the project: very elaborative and detail-oriented but never confused. They have a good understanding of what you need and they create fast and effective solutions. They are very practical and solution oriented; They do not have long boring procedures.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Altough they are a team with young people, they have a high work ethic and professional mind set. I hope they always keep this attitude.:) They should be aware of their contributions value. I'm delighted to be worked with BUMU Digital.

I am a Lead Design Strategist & Service Designer at ATÖLYE, a creative services organization based in Istanbul & Dubai.

We have worked with BUMU Digital on a service design project. They took on the UI/UX Design processes including Information Architecture, User Journeys, Wireframing, UX Research and UI Design. Bumu Digital also gave us consultancy on the technical side and worked as a Product Owner.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected BUMU digital based on their track record, portfolio, professionalism and can-do attitude at the start of the project.

The Project was a service design project where we have started with an idea and turning the idea into a scalable, useful mobile application. There were three phases of the project and we have met the BUMU team on Phase 3. After many pivots and researches from the previous phases, we were working on building the actual product on phase 3.

BUMU team created User Journeys, Information Architecture, Wireframes and UI Designs and helped us define user needs by joining our UX research teams, define technical needs by communicating between different stakeholders to understand their needs and capabilities and worked as a product owner to make sure each stakeholder was on the same page about specific decisions.

We have worked with their Design Team and Product Growth team. There were UI Designers, UX Designers and Product Owners in their team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are very pleased with BUMU’s services. Their outcomes helped us define the product and discover even the smallest details. Their outcomes created a base for the product development teams. Currently, our client is working on software development by using the outcomes of BUMU.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was excellent. BUMU is very responsive, agile and professional in the way that they manage projects. They always set realistic deadlines and stick to them, give frequent updates and ask questions at the right times. BUMU truly felt like a natural part of our team. The client also liked working with them and saw them as an extension of their own team.

I am the CTO of Mottojoy. I am responsible for product development, technical design and product testing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bumu Digital?

We have worked with Bumu Digital both on our mobile application and web site. We have hired Bumu Digital on product development, UI/UX Design, user testing and conversion optimization.

What were your goals for this project?

Our company was in need of building a new web site to start online selling and redesign of Mottojoy mobile app. Our goal was to create a smooth experience to increase sales both on the mobile app and the web site.

How did you select Bumu Digital?

With the help of their startup background, they were very fast at understanding our needs and suggesting alternative solutions. From the first meeting, they made us feel like we are team working passionately for the same purpose, which was making Mottojoy a fast-growing and successful startup.

Describe the project in detail.

At first, we started working on Mottojoy website. Bumu Digital and our team worked closely on user flows, making daily workshops to develop alternative solutions to our problems/needs. In this stage, we were very satisfied with Bumu Digital's ideas, as they had very different and effective solutions to our problems. When it came to UI design, Bumu Digital team understood our vision and created the website we have always dreamt of.

As we were very satisfied with their work, we continued working together for our mobile application. When designing our mobile application, we worked with their methodology called Design Sprint, tested alternative solutions with real users on interactive prototypes. As we had user testing before software development, it saved us a lot of time and also ended up in higher conversion rates.

What was the team composition?

Bumu Digital assigned us a project manager and we were always in contact with her during the project. We have worked with 4 people, which were: project manager, UX researcher, UX writer and UI designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After designing our website with Bumu Digital, more than 60% of our sales started coming from the web site which resulted in a big amount of growth in our sales. After our mobile app redesign, our users actually loved the way it looks and works. Therefore, our store ratings increased to 4.8 points.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had a project manager assigned to us and it was very effective to be in contact with only one person for all questions and problems throughout the project. The team in general was very friendly and helpful. They actually felt like a part of the team and even joined our team celebrations.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their way of problem solving was very impressive for us. And they were able to keep up with the speed a startup needs, adopting very fast to our company culture and becoming a part of our team.
