Build with Matriarch

Build With Matriarch builds fast, practical websites for established businesses that have outgrown what they have.

I specialise in websites where the problem is bigger than “it needs a nicer design.” Maybe the site is slow, difficult to update, confusing to navigate, not showing up in search, or making customers jump through unnecessary hoops to enquire, book or buy.

I design and build websites around how the business actually works.

That can mean a high-performing WordPress or custom HTML website, a better ecommerce experience, online booking and payments, smarter enquiry and quoting systems, local service-area logic, CRM integrations, automated customer communication, or custom functionality that would normally require a pile of plugins and third-party subscriptions.

Performance, SEO, accessibility and usability are considered as part of the build rather than bolted on afterwards. I’m also comfortable getting under the hood of an existing website: cleaning up bloated WordPress installs, replacing slow page-builder sections, fixing broken customer journeys and building custom solutions where an off-the-shelf plugin isn’t the right answer.

I work directly with clients, so there’s no agency account-manager layer between you and the person designing and building your site.

My projects are particularly suited to service businesses and ecommerce businesses that already know how they operate and want their website to do more of the work: qualify enquiries, communicate clearly, reduce admin, make purchasing easier and turn more visitors into customers.

If your current website technically exists but isn’t pulling its weight, that’s my favourite kind of project.
