briskLabs.dev designed and developed gStandings.com as a web platform for grassroots sports organizers to manage and run their events more efficiently. 

The project focused on creating a centralized platform where organizers can manage event information, schedules, teams, games, and live scoring while providing an easy way for audiences to follow events online.

Key Deliverables:

• Organizer Dashboard — A centralized dashboard for organizers to create, manage, and monitor their sports events.
• Event Management — Tools to manage event details, teams, venues, schedules, and game information.
• Scheduling System — Create and manage game schedules and keep event schedules organized.
• Livestreaming Banners — Dynamic scoring banners designed for use with livestreaming platforms, displaying live game information and scores.
• Public Event Pages — Shareable pages where players, spectators, and fans can view event schedules, scores, and results.
•  Responsive Web Design — A mobile-friendly interface that works across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Backend & Database Integration — Structured data management for events, teams, schedules, games, and scoring information.

The result is a purpose-built sports platform that connects event management, scheduling, standings, and scoring in one system, helping grassroots organizers run and share their events more effectively

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

briskLabs.dev transformed the initial concept for gStandings into a fully functional web platform for grassroots sports. We took the project from idea and requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment. Beyond development, we also helped introduce the platform to its first organizers, who began using and endorsing it for barangay leagues and sports festivals.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

briskLabs.dev used a milestone-based approach throughout the project. Features were delivered in stages, with each feature developed, tested, and reviewed before moving on to the next. This allowed the team to gather feedback early and make improvements based on actual use. briskLabs.dev also worked closely with organizers during barangay leagues and sports festivals, gathering new requirements and feature ideas from real-world events and incorporating them into the platform.

What stood out most was briskLabs’ ability to go beyond simply building the platform. They understood the real needs of grassroots sports and continuously improved gStandings based on feedback from actual organizers and events. Their hands-on approach, milestone-based delivery, and willingness to adapt features based on real-world use made the development process practical and effective.

Are there any areas for improvement or something brisklabs.dev could have done differently?

briskLabs could have improved the project by establishing more detailed requirements and documentation earlier in the development process. As the platform evolved through real-world events, new features and ideas naturally emerged. A more structured roadmap from the beginning could have helped prioritize these requirements and make future development even more efficient.
