The inception of BriersCPA was developed over 8,000 miles from Bonita Springs, Florida, while Mike Briers was working in the textile business in Shanghai, China. Determined to return to Public Accounting, while relocating to a desirable part of the world, Mike started discussing the idea of creating an accounting practice in Southwest Florida with his wife, Chandra, and his father, Tom. As Tom had relocated to the area couple of years earlier, Bonita Springs was the logical place to start the firm. Since both Mike and Tom were experienced CPAs with international business experience and a unique story, they thought the time to start a business together was never better.
