Due to the enormous demand for language training services, we started Paragona Academy and are now offering courses for healthcare professionals to a wider public. We needed a website to present our offer and quick contact with people interested in the training.

We have checked several companies on the market. Brave New seemed to have understood our needs immediately and came up with a comprehensive offer.

The first step of the project was to prepare UX mockups, on which we planned all the elements of the website, to make the use of the website as intuitive as possible. Then we prepared graphic designs in the mobile and desktop versions - we wanted the website to be minimalist and at the same time contain all the important information about the language courses. We put great emphasis on providing various contact options.

We wanted a contact form, that will provide us with as much information as possible about the needs of the students from the very beginning in order to adapt the offer to the individual needs of customers. The form has been placed in several places so that the user can write from anywhere on the page. Additionally, the website has been integrated with the newsletter and we have placed a chat on the website.

Brave New also helped integrate the website with analytical tools. At the end the website has been tested, installed on the server and we received tips and help on how to manage the website.

The new website has become a base for our medical language courses, and those who are interested can quickly contact our company to ask about the offer.

All stages of the project went smooth. Coding stage took a bit longer that we expected however once it was done, we got the page approved without major changes.

The Galicia Jewish Museum exists to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and celebrate the Jewish culture of Polish Galicia, presenting Jewish history from a new perspective. An innovative and unique institution located in Kazimierz, the Jewish district of Kraków, Poland, the Museum is a registered charity in Poland.

The objectives of the Museum are to challenge the stereotypes and misconceptions typically associated with the Jewish past in Poland and to educate both Poles and Jews about their own histories, whilst encouraging them to think about the future.

As a result of a server failure, we lost access to the museum's website and the bookstore's online store. No files were saved, everything was lost. We only had some of the views archived by webarchive.org. We were looking for a partner who would prepare a graphic design based on the views and code them in a very short time. Additionally, we required to prepare a simple beta version of the website for the period of work.

We sources a number of offers, and the one send by the Brave New was the best, both in terms of the quality of the previous work, as well as the solutions proposed. And also, financially the offer was comparable with the other we received.

At first, within a few days, the beta version of the project was created. As part of the project, it was necessary to prepare graphic designs for the website and store, design from scratch the purchase path and views for My Account. We wanted the project to reproduce the previous version of the website. We put a lot of emphasis on making the website functional, and managing it from the administration panel side was easy and pleasant.

The website has been prepared in two language versions. The website has been integrated with the necessary plugins: a quick payment gateway, a plugin facilitating SEO activities and analytical activities. Shipping methods related to the weight of the products have been configured. The website has been tested, installed on the server and integrated with the available SSL certificate.

There was a Project Manager assigned to the project who was responsible for the contact. We received regular updates related to the pace of work. Our comments and corrections submitted to the project were implemented very quickly, which allowed for shortening the project implementation time. We have interviewed a plethora of local and international developers. Brave New and Andrzej Kozdeba specifically was recommended by marketing colleagues from Poland.

We had an introduction meeting, during which we were impressed with Andrzej Kozdeba not overpromising and paying attention to our needs. After we listed what we needed, Brave New worked proposed the wireframe for the website and the first designs for approval. They also assisted with the creative and provided guidance on what were the optimal solutions available to our problems. With time we found that it was incredibly valuable to listen to their guidance rather than to rely on our ideas of what would be useful.

Andrzej Kodzeba was the main point of contact. Unlike in many agencies where a business developer is replaced by project manager, Andrzej was the person who introduced us to Brave New and lead us through the entire project. He brought in around 4-5 other team member as per the project phase needs.

We had overwhelmingly positive feedback on our website. As originally we insisted that our website's e-commerce solution was our secondary priority, once that change and Brave New rebuilt the website in April 2021, we started to generate income directly from online sales.

This year we decided to focus more on the valuable content for our contact lenses and lens care solutions users. It is specific category, because consumers have to be well educated about the products, aware of the health of the eyes and obey safety rules of wearing lenses. All of the knowledge has to be available for them in a attractive manner.

We hired Brave New to create and develop a new, user-friendly website and embedded it on current loyalty program website. Priorities were to organize content in a well-ordered way, provide availability of SEO tools, prepare website for implementation of further functionalities as newsletter, just by adding firewires.

We were decided to work on Wordpress solutions. The major challenge was how to find a balance between a conversion of the traffic to program and product websites as well as to impart a knowledge.

Workflow started from the briefing meeting. The Brave New team was very inquisitive at that stage, in pursuance to deliver good tailor-made offer. Due to this attitude they got some extra points in a tender. On the base of a detailed bid they were ready to prepare wireframes. We propose just a few amendments.

In the next step we got mockups of the website. It allowed us to settle the graphic design idea. Than the programming phase started. Needed modifiactions were implemented promptly. Product was tasted on diverse operational systems and devices. After transfer of final files we were provided with video tutorial about elementary CMS maintenance of the website.

After launching a blog website we observed 5 times higher traffic on the loyalty website, which definitely exceeded the expectations.

During the process we communicated via e-mails and all project materials as actual schedule and wirefires, mockups were available all time on Dropbox. Project manager answered very quickly and updated us proactively, so we were never let without a current status.

We were impressed with their expertise which they shared with us during the project on its every stage. Prompt responses, due to which we were thoroughly updated. Quickly implemented amendments. Extra video tutorials.

I would recommend to introduce a new service - editing correction of provided by client content. Corrections on existing website by the client take a lot of time and impose some workload on both sides.

I met the CEO of BraveNew almost 10 years before the project starts (we were members of the same students international organization). I knew that he is a great leader and project manager.

The project was divided into 6 stages (milestones)

1. Initial contact. We started off with a business requirements document and had a few iterations of Q&A to refine and clarify requirements.
2. Planning After that I got from BraveNew a propositions project schedule (gant matrices). When we agreed the scope of work and timeline we started to work on project.
3. Content Our team were working simultaneously with BraveNew (we delivered content – for example copywriting).
4. Design Web designers developed a landing page for the website, as well as an inner web page to demonstrate near-precise colour, font-sizes and precise placement of all the navigation and content elements. After that we had the opportunity to provide feedback or request changes. Then designer trwała współpraca continues the process of fine tuning the design until he got our approval.
5. Development In this phase, designers created a demo installation, so that we could view and interact with the web pages as they are being developed.
6. Launch In this phase, BraveNew’s designers run through a final set of tests to be sure that everything is functional. As soon as the site has been tested, reviewed and approved by us we launched the website for the viewing public. The project is now still on going. We decided to start permanent cooperation which allows us to develop the website and implement new ideas.

After launching our site we got a lot of positive feedback from friends and clients. After 6 months of website launching, it is profitable and deliver all planed functionalities. It’s one of the best investment in my life. I’m totally proud of this website.

Brave New gave us individual YouTube movie guides which explains how to operate the whole website. It was very helpful at the beginning, because I had never worked with WordPress before. Finally, we got a professional and beautiful website which is easy to manage. It gives me right now more than 50 clients every month and the number it’s still rising.

The project could be finished a 2-3 weeks earlier but I am aware that our team had delay in delivering content. Anyway a short delay doesn’t effect the company. The final results is great!

What we have expected from Brave New is a website that can be easily managed by our in-house marketing team. Since we're often running tests and do modifications, we wanted to have a certain level of control over the content and particular section. We also wanted our website to be fast, mobile-friendly, and SEO-friendly. We put a lot of focus on the design, we wanted our website to look neat and sharp and to follow the design guidelines very carefully.

We have picked the design agency first and then started looking for the software agency that would understand our priorities and has a portfolio of similar projects. They developed, configured, and launched a brand new Wordpress website based on the UI design delivered by the design agency. We planned the sprints and release dates for particular parts of the project as it was pretty extensive: there were about 50 pages to be developed and released. Improvements were made after each release. I was in permanent contact with the assigned developer (Robert), who received instructions on how particular elements should work and what level of flexibility we're expecting. In the end, he produced for us pre-recorded materials and instructions that included essential knowledge about the website.

The project team had about 6 people, but certain individuals would come and go depending on the skills needed. I took the role of a project manager on our side, we collaborated mainly with a developer from Brave New who was solely responsible for developing our website. He, together with the Brave New project manager, where our two points of contact. The rest of the marketing team supported when needed.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It is still too early to demonstrate the effects of the newly produced website on our business, but we're glad to have such great results when it comes to Page Speed (which is a crucial factor for SEO and we expect improvements in this area). What's more, it's much easier for us to make improvements and change pages, sections, and elements, as they are built in a very user-friendly way.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We communicated on Slack, which was very convenient for us (we chose this channel of communication). Communication was ongoing and every question was answered really quickly. We had an impression that our project is a top priority and the Brave New team is engaged and motivated to deliver the promised results.

They have experience working with demanding clients and they are flexible in addressing their needs. It surprised me how communicative and nice was the developer we directly collaborated with. It almost felt like (for the time the project was developed) he was a part of our team. I also appreciate the precision when it comes to translating the design into a live website.
