The Brandopedia was hired by a wedding platform to develop their website and app.
The Brandopedia delivered an incomplete app with missing features and functionality issues after more than nine months of waiting. The client also experienced poor communication and had to hire another team to fix the problems. This review is an update by the client company. The original content is located below the new review.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Brandopedia— 9+ Months of Delays, Poor Communication and an Unfinished ProductI am writing this review after being extremely patient for more than 9 months. I hired this company to develop Wedoura, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. For the past two weeks alone, I have repeatedly called and messaged asking for a response regarding serious issues with the app. Despite multiple attempts, I have received no proper response from Sharan. The app delivered to me does not feel like a completed, production-ready application. It feels more like a demo version. Multiple buttons are not working, important features are missing, and the Real Weddings feature that was expected is not available. There are several functionality issues that make the app unusable for my business in its current state. The website also had numerous problems. The UI was slow, several elements and functions were not working properly, and the overall experience was far from what I expected after waiting for months. What is most disappointing is the timeline. I waited more than 9 months for this project. I was repeatedly patient and gave the team time to complete the work. Eventually, I had no choice but to hand the project over to another team. The shocking part is that several changes and issues I had been waiting months for were handled by the new team in just 3 days. Whenever I requested changes from the previous team, I was frequently told that the “change time is over.” In my opinion, there is a major difference between requesting unnecessary additional changes and asking for paid features or core functionality to actually work correctly. Because the project was not completed properly within a reasonable timeline, I am now forced to pay another development team again for features and work that I had already paid for. The lack of communication has made the experience even worse. As a client who invested money, trusted the company with a major business project and waited patiently for months, I expected at least basic communication and professional respect. I am sharing my personal experience because I genuinely do not want another founder or business owner to go through the same situation. Before hiring this company for a major application or website project, I strongly recommend asking for very clear milestones, written feature documentation, delivery timelines, testing requirements and acceptance criteria. I have records of my communication, project timeline and the issues I faced. I have also formally requested that Wedoura no longer be displayed or presented as part of the company's portfolio, social media, LinkedIn, website or client presentations, as the current Wedoura product has since undergone substantial redesign and redevelopment by another team. This review is based entirely on my personal experience as a paying client. After more than 9 months of patience, repeated follow-ups and having to hire another team to complete and correct the work, I can confidently say this has been one of the most disappointing development experiences I have had. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

We wanted to develop a full wedding planner ecosystem, including a user app, user website, vendor app, and admin panel. We wanted to create a bridge between wedding vendors, such as food, decoration, and event halls, and couples.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Brandopedia has designed the product using Figma. They’ve also developed a React user website, a React Native user app, a React Native vendor app, and a React + Node.js admin panel. The team has integrated Firebase and a payment gateway. The team has also developed an interactive wedding planner in the user app.

We’ve spent $30,000.

We worked with The Brandopedia from December 2025–April 2026.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The Brandopedia’s approach has been great. The team has taken time but carefully considered every edge case, even those outside the scope. We’ve onboarded about 200 vendors in the last month. The platform is about to launch next month. The pilot users have found it very user-friendly among the apps they’ve used so far. We have the best UX currently.

What did you find most impressive about them?
The Brandopedia designed pretty screens and user conversion funnels.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The Brandopedia could be a bit faster, but good things take time.
