I'm an Executive of Being Basic, a digital marketing agency that offers personalized strategies, including email and social media marketing, SEO, retargeting ads, and influencer marketing to help businesses grow their brand and increase awareness.

What challenge were you trying to address with The Bot Man?

Our goal was to optimize internal processes and introduce automation that would allow us to scale more efficiently. We were looking to reduce manual workload, improve system integration, and create a more streamlined foundation to support future growth for Being Basic.

This included auditing our current workflows, setting up automations to reduce manual work, and integrating tools to create a more efficient and scalable setup. They also provided guidance on how to structure our processes as we grow.The Bot Man integrated our CRM, email marketing tools, and project management systems to create a more connected and efficient workflow. They developed automations for lead intake, client onboarding, email follow-ups, and internal task routing. Additionally, they implemented workflow triggers and system integrations to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.

We found them through an online search. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget, they had a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

As a result of the project, we saw a significant reduction in manual tasks and improved efficiency across our workflows. Automation allowed us to streamline lead management and client onboarding, which reduced turnaround time and improved overall consistency. We were also able to operate more efficiently without increasing resources.We experienced around a 20%–30% reduction in manual workload, along with an estimated 20%–25% improvement in turnaround time for key workflows like onboarding and follow-ups.In addition to efficiency gains, we saw a reduction in manual errors due to automation and more standardized workflows. This led to improved consistency across client processes. We also noticed an increase in responsiveness and overall client experience, along with time savings that translated into better resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, the experience was very positive. If anything, having more frequent check-ins or milestone updates throughout the project could've been helpful for alignment, but the team was always responsive when needed.
