Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO of Hydros, trying to build a solution to automate and enhance grass irrigation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Bootia, and what were your goals?

We needed to develop a solution from scratch, from the hardware, back end to the mobile solution. And everything needed to connect, communicate and provide something different to the consumer. We used multiple IoT platforms and needed an iOS and Android app to interconnect with our IoT platform. Hence the hire to Bootia

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found it online and started using it to enhance the team, once I establish the relationship and got to know the CEO Diego, it came clear to me that I could trust and leverage their expertise for all of our mobile development.

Multi year project that included the development of 20 different iOS and Android pages, from sign in, setup of device to irrigation scheduling. They brought up their own methodology, scrum, and had a 2 week sprint with multiple checkpoints during the week and very little oversight.

Diego provided 2 or 3 resources, front end (UX design), Android Design/development and iOS design/development

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team was able to develop the first draft of the app in just 2 months, and focus on rapid testing / developing.

The team was able to leverage Trello for project management and Slack for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team was a one-stop-shop, they not only helped on the mobile and UX design but when we had issues on the backend, they step up and supported our engineers to solve the issues.
