I’m the manager of Children Safe Life Organization, a non-profit dedicated to safeguarding the rights and well-being of children in Sudan.

What challenges were you trying to address with Blue Team Africa?

We needed a comprehensive digital solution that could manage multiple humanitarian programs across different regions, enable field staff to collect and submit data from low-connectivity areas, automate workflows for donor reporting and accountability, secure sensitive beneficiary and program data, provide real-time dashboards for program monitoring and evaluation, and integrate financial management, inventory, and CRM functionality.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Blue Team Africa delivered a complete digital transformation for our organization, implementing a full ERPNext and Frappe CRM platform tailored for humanitarian operations. The solution included ERPNext implementation, a complete ERP system with modules for financial management, inventory, HR, and project management; Frappe CRM deployment for managing donor relationships, communications, and engagement tracking; humanitarian project management; a custom module for program planning, beneficiary tracking, and impact measurement; a mobile data collection app; an offline-capable mobile app that allows field staff to collect and sync data even in low-connectivity areas; secure database integration; robust security measures, including encryption, role-based access control, and data backup systems; multi-program dashboards; real-time reporting dashboards for program managers, donors, and senior leadership; automated workflows; streamlined processes for donor reporting, financial reconciliation, and beneficiary registration; and multilingual support for Arabic and English.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Blue Team Africa's work resulted in a 70% reduction in manual data entry time, a 50% faster donor reporting and accountability, and 100% data security and backup compliance. I tracked the hours saved and compared the donor reporting speed to our previous years' reports.

How did Blue Team Africa perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered ahead of time and still respond fast to any support request. Additionally, they provided three months of training for our staff. We communicated via in-person and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understood our workflow, mission, and vision. It was easy to explain to them what we wanted, and they delivered better than our expectations.
