We are a proprietary trading firm that builds and operates algorithmic systems to capture arbitrage opportunities from corporate actions across U.S. equity markets.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Blinkz LLC to accomplish?

• Build our own proprietary product where each user runs the system on their own local machine. On-prem only, so user data stays inside their own setup and isn't leaking out to a cloud anywhere. We wanted people to actually own their copy, not be tied to us hosting it
• Automate the reverse stock split work. Manually placing trades across that many broker accounts every time a split got announced was burning too much time
• One workflow across all the brokers we use, instead of jumping between six different broker terminals every time we needed to do something

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The main build was the desktop app itself. Software that installs on each user's own machine and runs everything locally. No hosted accounts, no cloud sync, no data leaving the user's computer. Each user gets their own copy that they configure and own. Inside that, Blinkz built integrations for the six brokers we work with. Each broker has its own quirks and rules around how round-ups get handled, so the app had to talk to each one differently. Everything runs from the user's own setup using the user's own credentials, which they manage. The automation engine is what does the actual work. It watches for announced reverse stock splits, sizes positions per account based on each broker's specific round-up rules, places the trades, and then handles the unwind after the split goes through. There's a dashboard inside the app that shows all of it in one place. Announced splits coming up, open positions across the accounts, what's already executed, what's still pending. Before this we were jumping between spreadsheets and six different broker terminals.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

What used to take hours of manual order entry per split now takes under 10 minutes from announcement to all positions placed. Across a typical month with six to eight split events, that's the difference between two full days of work and a couple of hours. Coverage went from us being able to manually hit maybe 20-30 of our accounts before deadlines closed to all 67+ on every announced split. We don't miss events anymore. Monthly profit attributable to the automated execution has consistently cleared $3,000+ per active user setup, which was the threshold we'd set to know the strategy was working at scale. Setup time per new user dropped from what would have been a full day of walkthrough to under 30 minutes. People install the app, plug in their broker credentials, and they're running. The on-prem requirement held up across every install. Fully local, no outbound calls to our servers, no telemetry. That was the non-negotiable for us and it's been clean.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The team consistently met deadlines and they effectively communicated through various streams of communication, to Discord or a phone call if necessary. They were on top of priority support tickets where our user opened up cases for bugs and stuff, and they were able to get to those tickets fast and resolve them. They would constantly break down their work into sprints and keep us in the loop as well to make sure management does their part of the job to oversee key development features and support maintance.

The company really values our idea. They scope out the work as much as they can and justify if it's worth the time or deliverable to actually do this type of job and validate our idea before executing upon it. They met all the standards of strength and technical expertise to bring our vision to life.
