We were looking to create an automation platform to prevent errors and reduce the amount of input required by our employees.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Blazity Software held a consultation at the beginning of the project. We gave them the requirements and they held a workshop with each department head in our company. One of our requirements was that they would use the software licenses we already had, so they used Microsoft Power and Microsoft Flow. After outlining our requirements, they created a proposal that included what features we needed and how they would go about the project.  From there, they developed the custom software for us.

We had four people involved in the project.

How did you come to work with Blazity Software?

When we first started working with them, we weren’t sure if there was a software product that met our needs or if we needed to start from scratch. I sent out emails to a handful of companies. Blazity Software was at the top of my list because of their website and the customer they worked with.

They seemed very approachable. They were also the first to want to talk about my requirements. Whereas most companies I spoke with only offered a single solution, Blazity Software could deliver what I needed.

We began working together in March 2020 and we’re still in a partnership with them. We’re looking into other solutions at the moment.

They’ve performed really well. I can only praise their team for the way they’ve tackled the project and how well they’ve worked with us.

How did Blazity Software perform from a project management standpoint?

We first made contact with them via email, but then they held various workshops over video chat. We had weekly video chats because we couldn’t meet in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve changed a few things during the project, but they always jumped on board. They were always able to assist us, even if that meant taking a few steps back to explore another option. They’re outstanding.

I have nothing negative to say about them.

Just be open to their suggestions. It was a great experience. We’re looking at working on other projects to work with them on.

I’m the CMO for a cryptocurrency project. We’ve created a cryptocurrency and also build products and ways for users to use that cryptocurrency.

We brought in Blazity Software to support us on our custom web and mobile app development projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Initially, Blazity Software built one of our websites from scratch, creating the site along with the backend. For our second web project, the frontend was already developed, so they built the CMS into it using GraphCMS, MailChimp, and Firebase.

Since then, the scope of work has just continued to grow — we’re always finding something for them to do, whether that’s solving a technical problem or building in analytics for us. They’ve recently built a custom blog, which will go live soon. 

We’re also looking to bring them in for support on our React Native-based mobile app. It’s a solution that we’re building in-house as a new crypto-to-crypto mobile wallet. Blazity Software will be responsible for building the Zendesk integration, both for our website and app. Then, they’ll connect the backend of the app to our website for analytics, modeling, and business intelligence purposes.

I primarily work with Jakub (COO) day to day, but others will come on if we need additional support for our discovery. Hugo (Founder & CEO) heads the development side of things, and there’s another individual who leads the customer analytics and in-app tracking.

One of our in-house developers had worked with Blazity Software in the past to support an old website, and they recommended them to me. I trusted our developer’s opinion, so I spoke with Blazity Software to see what they were like.

We’ve spent about $55,000. The costs have been really reasonable, and they’ve been able to come up with great solutions in a way that works with our budget.

It’s an ongoing engagement that started in August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

What started as one project has now become a successful partnership, which speaks to how brilliantly they’ve worked. They’ve always worked within our scope and schedule, sometimes delivering things ahead of time. If we have a tight turnaround to meet or last-minute changes, they’ll find a way to make it happen.

How did Blazity Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Having worked with so many agencies and developers over the years, I’m blown away by the kind of support that Blazity Software provides. 

Jakub is available day and night, answering Slacks even when he shouldn’t. He doesn’t need to, but he strives to be responsive. He’s a real asset because he understands what you’re trying to do and can translate those non-technical ideas to his developers so that they can build upon your concept.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s their professionalism, the quality of the work, and the fact that they’re multidisciplinary. Even though we’re developing our solutions in-house using blockchain technology, they’re still able to come in and augment our team as needed. We’re thrilled to work with them, and I’ll continue to engage them wherever I go because you don’t find that level of service and quality very easily.

No, my experience has been really positive so far. They’ve figured out any problems that we might’ve had and have gotten the right people involved in the conversation.

Be collaborative when working things out — look to them for advice and input because they’ll think of ideas that you might not have considered.

When we were working on our blog, it was nice to go through a journey to talk about our various options. Their advice was fantastic, and I appreciated that they weren’t trying to push us in any direction. Instead, they laid out the facts, made recommendations, and supported us in whichever direction we decided to go.

We needed to publish a website to let our customers know more about our offers and services we provide. The idea was to build an easily scalable, dynamic base with interactive arsenal as a way to display the equipment available to our visitors.

What were your goals for this project?

The most important factor was to deliver a unique customer experience by letting them chose their preferred weapon before visiting B7. We wanted to create an interactive arsenal, similar to equipment lists in video games. This system had to be very flexible and easy to develop further, including adding e-commerce later on.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Blazity was recommened to us by a fellow customer and they seemed like the perfect fit for our needs. Young and ambitious software house with passion-driven delvelopers, willing to push the limits and boundaries by creating something new was just what we needed!

They designed, developed, configured and launched a website with a custom and powerful CMS system behind it. We were able to preview the development progress through Netlify which was absolutely fantastic and Blazity were surprisingly quick to solve any issues ecountered. We didn't have to worry about anything really and they were always quick to respond.

What was the team composition?

I didn't have to worry about team composition at all which was a very nice surprise - in fact I had only one person responsible for managing everything on their side and I was working directly with him, in 1 on 1 scenario.

This was a great experience because we were able to develop a personal bond and I knew I could count on him to handle everything correctly and always deliver solutions or answers to my questions.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our website was launched long before we opened the business and Blazity performed very well. Everything was working properly from day 1, and we didn't encounter any issues. This helped us promote our facility and directly contributed to the success of our project.

Thanks to their skills the website is also easily the most unique and best performing website in our industry!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Their team regularly complied with deadlines and we didn't encounter any delays, the communication was always easy and every call was productive, we never had to repeat any feedback and they made sure that every single issue or question that we asked was addressed before they came to us for another review.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The fact that they were able to provide a full solution to our needs, including great design and ongoing support. I was also very happy with the fact that I had just 1 person responsible for everything related to the project on their end, which made our communication easy and effective.

There is very little they could improve - it was a great and memorable experience we are very happy with the result.

Blazity is a recommended agency on the GraphCMS site. We use GraphCMS for our CMS, and their engineers have vast experience with this stack, and other tech we already used in our stack, so the choice was easy.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Before just some of Blazity's work for our, our website had no open graph data/extensibility, causing us to see almost no SEO value in our site. After Blazity implemented OG capabilities in our CMS, we've seen some of our content enter top 3 Google ranking on key terms. This will only continue to grow as they add more and more SEO targeted pages to our site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our company designs and specs the project out, then we have an initial kickoff call to identify any gaps, questions or issues. We then work together on slack as the project progresses. Its extremely efficient and exactly how we like to work

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their quality of work, even in areas where our company didnt spec the work out in depth. It is very easy to simply trust Blazity to just get the project done in the right way.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not much to be improved. They do a great job of just getting the work done, the right way, no questions asked. Maybe a bit more regular updates on progress throughout the dev cycle just to stay up to date

M7 is a leading specialist in the pan-European, regional, multi-let real estate market. I am an Acquisitions & Asset Manager within M7 Real Estate’s Polish Team, responsible for acquisition of assets and portfolios for M7’s European funds and joint ventures.

What challenge were you trying to address with Blazity Software?

We need to have different approaches for different tenants - marketing and communication is a first step to create a business relationship with the tenants. We needed to create a platform that would list each property to attract and target tenants.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were our partners throughout the entire process. We started them off with a small test project that involved creating a single web page for a property. It took about a month to prepare a template that would be suitable for our different properties. That template would be adjustable for different properties, understanding our key points and target audience.

When that was a success, we went into extended cooperation with them. Now, we have websites for 11 properties, and we’re still working together. We’re looking to start new projects together now.

They had a project manager that was in constant contact with us. Additionally, their team of developers was staffed to the work.

We started the project in September 2019 and wrapped up in January 2020. Our teams are starting a new project now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When I have investors looking into buying our properties, the tool has been useful in showcasing their options. It’s easy to see how the properties are kept. Our tenants are also happy when they receive updates on events or parking. We’ve heard positive feedback from them.

 The site template they created was very flexible to the needs of our many tenants and properties. They were able to target a wide variety of clients this way. The sites are also easy to update, so tenants can follow the site for events.  

How did Blazity Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They always delivered on time, and communication was very clear. I felt informed and comfortable. We used email, WhatsApp, and phone calls to communicate.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understood our needs and were flexible, remaining open-minded and professional. We’re not programmers, so they communicated to us in ways that would help us understand their process. Sometimes we needed graphics, marketing help, and photos that weren’t listed in the contract. In those cases, they were flexible with the scope of the project. They could always handle our needs.

We selected Blazity because we've heard about them from other clients. Communication and deep understanding of our needs was extremely important, because the project has a lot of very specific data-points to analyze. Second most important factor for us was strict deadline.

Within 2 months after our app was launched, we saw nearly 50 000 downloads, with an average score of 4,95 on Android and 4.9 on iOS.

We continue to receive great feedback from our users, with UX and smooth operating being frequently listed as most attractive qualities. We're generating revenue since day 1, and we continue to see its growth.

Blazity is very easy to communicate with. We had no issues with communication, it was smooth and friendly. They always cared about our feedback and took it seriously and always responded quick, no matter the day and hour ;)
