We hired Black Fig Jam to help with logo and graphic design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Black Fig Jam went through multiple rounds of redesigning my logo. They also created all my templates and boards to align with our new look.

What is the team composition?

I work directly with Chanell (Managing Director, Black Fig Jam), and occasionally one other teammate.

How did you come to work with Black Fig Jam?

I followed a referral from a family member and decided to use Black Fig Jam because of their competitive prices and exceptional service. Compared to other companies, they were a much stronger option.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in December 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received exceptional service from Black Fig Jam. They created a perfect, eye-catching logo for us. Everything is delivered quickly, too.

How did Black Fig Jam perform from a project management standpoint?

During the design process, we were in contact daily and they finished their work on time. Any request I have is accomplished quickly. They’re communicative and get important materials to me ahead of time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The creative designs they've produced have been the most valuable part of working with Black Fig Jam. Chanell took a small, plain concept and transformed it into a great final product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t change anything about the experience; everything has been perfect.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Choose Black Fig Jam for your project; no other team can compare. Even if you’re not entirely sure of what you want, they’ll help you and turn your ideas into something valuable.

We reached out to Black Fig Jam for branding and web design services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Black Fig Jam designed our website and various branding materials for two of our market segments. 

What is the team composition? 

I work directly with just one person on their team, touching base with them a few times a week or more depending on the stage of the project. 

How did you come to work with Black Fig Jam?

They've done some design work for our other company, and we definitely wanted to work with them again.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about R40,000 South African Rand (about $2,800 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since April 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Some of the branding materials Black Fig Jam designed have already started to generate more business. However, it's still early and we haven't had the opportunity to fully launch the new line yet. 

How did Black Fig Jam perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very responsive through all forms of communication and good about documenting their work as the project progresses. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their promptness, creativity, initiative, and the overall quality of their work is exceptional.

No,  can't name any specifics.

Provide clear expectations for the designers and stay very involved throughout the process.
