I own a company that develops all different types of websites such as multimedia and entertainment platforms.

What challenge were you trying to address with BKHosting?

We wanted to have double redundancy, which would ensure that our servers stay up. We also wanted to create an environment that got more traffic without experiencing issues.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BKHosting makes sure that we're always up and running. Their team set up load balancers. They also put servers up in the US and Europe to increase our load time. Their team set up a Nagios server, so if one of our sites goes down, they’re notified right away.

I only spoke with one person from BKHosting.

How did you come to work with BKHosting?

I placed an ad for a B2B  server administrator. They responded and showed me what they could do. I decided based on my knowledge of servers as BKHosting answered my questions the best. I felt most comfortable with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $5,000–$10,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

BKHosting started their work around June 2019 and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t had any issues. We had a server that went down, but the redundancy kicked in, so we only had 10 seconds of downtime. Everything BKHosting set up runs smoothly, so their work’s perfect.

How did BKHosting perform from a project management standpoint?

I can call them at any time, and they’ll respond quickly. We haven’t had strict deadlines, but their team completed the project within a month. Their project management’s good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team doesn’t give sales pitches. They explain the technology and give options, which allows us to choose what’s best for our business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m happy with their services.
