I’m the owner and operations manager of a body sculpting and medical spa.

What challenge were you trying to address with Biz Ops Support?

We needed to do a major website overhaul as well as social media marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Biz Ops Support conducted a complete analysis of my business prior to meeting with me. That due diligence helped them gather details about where I’m at when it comes to my website, listings, social media engagement, advertising, and SEO. They graded me on each category to let me know where the gaps were and identified key points in my digital marketing that they could address. Their team also walked me through the content on our website’s homepage to demonstrate its effectiveness in bringing in new customers. 

We then sat down and worked on a plan to overhaul the website. They brought a lot of great ideas and strategies to the table, and eventually implemented these practices to help me generate leads. They also put together constant contact newsletters for our business. 

We have yet to start marketing on TikTok, but Biz Ops Support has covered Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels.

What is the team composition?

I primarily worked with Leonora (Owner) and her assistant who’s well-versed in TikTok and other social media platforms. 

How did you come to work with Biz Ops Support?

Out of all of the marketing firms I had interviewed, Biz Ops Support’s due diligence was the most comprehensive. I really appreciated how Leonora looked into my business in great detail and tried to understand how the current state of things was impacting our leads. We felt that they could take us in the direction that we needed to go in, so we brought them on board.

How much have you invested with them?

At this point, I’ve invested around $4,200. We’ll eventually taper down to paying $400–$500 a month once we’re done addressing the major initial hurdles that we’ve identified. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in October 2021. Our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have yet to see any impact as we’ve just begun implementing our digital marketing strategies. We have, however, seen our social media engagement increase. We’ve had around 2–3 more clients come in this month, which is 20% of our business for January 2022 that’s been generated by Biz Ops Support’s Facebook marketing efforts. Our Instagram followers have also begun to build up. Our website is currently 60%–70% done, but it’s definitely heading in the right direction. 

How did Biz Ops Support perform from a project management standpoint?

Our relationship is going really well, despite us being the first body sculpting clinic and medical spa that they’ve worked with. We have the convenience of working in the same office building, so we’re able to meet in person. We also sometimes go on phone calls or exchange emails. Biz Ops Support is great at returning calls or immediately addressing our questions. Whenever I need a change implemented, they’re very organized and concise with it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been in sales for over 20 years now, and what really stood out to me was how prepared they were with a business snapshot even before our first meeting. They’ve not deterred from that since and have focused heavily on the main areas that needed to be addressed right away.

I also appreciate that they didn’t push other services on me, unlike the previous marketing firms that we’ve worked with. They’ve been very cooperative and respectful of what I wanted to get done. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

In general, anytime you meet with a marketing firm, you need to know exactly what you need to get done. Know where your gaps are from a website or social media standpoint and do a little research on what competing companies are doing, and then communicate and articulate your findings with whatever team you’re working with. 

Always ask for samples of the marketing firm’s work as well. Pull up their website, check if everything on there is functional, to make sure that you’re going to work with someone credible.
