BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a flooring company headquartered in Dalton, Georgia. I am the Director of the IT Sales Technology team in a larger IT group.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Bitorchestra, and what were your goals?

Our company was challenged with finding the resources needed to support our Enterprise Systems team and applications. Full Stack developers were needed to help develop and support complex application technologies.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our team had worked with Roman from BitsOrchestra in the past. We reached out to him looking for high quality developers. We described the skill set we were in need of. Roman provided candidates for interviews and out of the pool provided, we were able to find the team needed so support our applications.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

As the support provided by Bitsorchestra is ongoing, each project can be different. Our team works very closely with the Bitsorchestra team to identify project scope and or priorities of backlog items. A stand up meeting is help each morning with the team to discuss accomplishments from day before and current day., challenges on current assignment and upcoming needs.

Technologies used on applications include: Core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, Azure, CI/CD pipeline processes, C# and full .NET Stack, .Net Core, Web API development, RESTful services development, NodeJS and Command Line Interface, Angular development, Translation of designer mockups and wireframes into an Angular front-end, CSS precompilers like Sass and LESS, Google API Libraries integration to Enterprise Applications, SQL Server, DB2, Visual Studio & VS Code, ADFS, B2C, Azure AD - Application integration, Experience with Google App Engine & DataStore, Python, or Eclipse IDE a plus

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Up to 6 resources work with us at a time. Positions include developer, QA and Analyst.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

With the help of Bitsorchestra associates, we are able to support our complex application technologies. They have done a great job executing assigned tasks at an impressive level.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The team has a daily stand up call with our team Lead to discuss progress on assigned tasks, priorities. Each Bitsorchestra resource provides an update and necessary feedback on progress, roadblocks and timelines. The team use ServiceNow to log assignments and progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team members provided are exceptionally talented and professional. They quickly adapt and deliver They have excellent English speaking skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Continue to grow knowledge of our applications. Great resources and team to work with.
