Bitmetric is a data and analytics consultancy based in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. Since 2013 we have been building BI and analytics infrastructure for mid-sized companies and larger enterprises. We work across sectors: logistics, floriculture, agrofood, media, retail, financial services. Our deepest domain expertise sits in supply chain and trade, where data quality and timing are not optional.
Our work is technical. We design data models, build and maintain BI platforms on Qlik and Microsoft Power BI, integrate data from multiple source systems, and set up data warehousing and automation layers using Microsoft Fabric and TimeXtender. We hold certified partnerships in all four. But we do not stop at the technical layer. We understand what the numbers mean in your business, and we use that to build analytics that answers the right questions, not just the ones that were easy to ask.
We are not a generalist IT firm. Data and analytics is what we do, entirely. That means we have seen enough projects go wrong to know what causes them to fail: dashboards built on broken data models, BI tools chosen for the wrong reasons, analytics environments that three people understand and nobody else uses.
Most of our clients work with us for years. That is not accidental. We invest time in understanding a client's data landscape properly before we propose anything, and we prefer to build things that can be maintained without us being on call indefinitely.
If you need a vendor to execute a fixed spec, we are probably not the right fit. If you want people who understand your data well enough to question the spec, we likely are.

Most of our clients come to us through referrals. We think that says more about us than anything we could write here. Bitmetric was founded in 2013 by Barry Harmsen and has grown to a team of 16. We work on data and analytics projects across sectors. We are done when the client's goals are met, not when the deliverable is shipped.
