I’m the CEO and founder of Touchdown Coworking Space, a shared space provider for entrepreneurs and different companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Binarium?

I needed their hardware purchasing and maintenance services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Binarium purchased all the hardware equipment we needed to set up our co-working spaces, including overall wiring, wifi units, and security cameras. They also installed everything and made sure that all we needed to do was plug our devices. 

One of their complicated tasks was setting up our Ubiquiti UniFi wifi system, which was comprised of several routers and cable wires. Once all the server units and CCTV systems were set up, Binarium also installed all the phone units in our meeting rooms.

Binarium has already installed all systems needed to make our space functional, but we still rely on their team to maintain our hardware devices, replace faulty units, and fix any server issues that we encounter.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact is their project manager, but two technicians are handling the installation work.

How did you come to work with Binarium?

I met them at a trade show, and we exchanged contact information. Binarium then reached out to me to promote their services and present a quote. They offered reasonable pricing and had a good grasp of what I needed, so I was convinced to hire their team.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $30,000 CAD (approximately $24,000 USD) on their installation and maintenance services.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Binarium commenced in August 2019, a month before our official business launch.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Binarium has dealt with complicated wiring and installation challenges, but they’ve managed to execute everything to my satisfaction. They’ve worked on all my requirements and left my team with nothing to worry about. Overall, we’re pleased to be working with a team that gets the job done with great focus and a sense of responsibility.

How did Binarium perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate via emails. I appreciate Binarium’s timely responses to our requests. I can always trust their team to get back to me quickly and address any of our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out about their team is their ability to deliver cost-effective solutions and communicate efficiently — working with their team is just easy and rewarding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I haven’t encountered any areas that need improvement.
