We wished to achieve ranking and consistent ranking for non-brand intent-based keywords and brand keywords.

Onboarding consisted of the brief and pitch by the agency and face-2-face meetings with the marketing operations team. Meetings discussed the practical high-level goals and weekly operations, simply as who does what throughout the active project.

What was the team composition?

One account director and account manager from BigPond, on client-side CMO, Marketing Manager, Affiliate Manager, Head of Dev Ops for technical implementations and PM's.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We achieved several page 1 ranking on a global basis and local SEM on the active target markets.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly meetings, monthly performance review, and quarterly status for road-map. All meetings were supported with fully transparent reporting by the agency, on spend and management time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

In short, the sector knowledge, but the ability to debunk SEO terminology into simple marketing terms related to funnel marketing. SEO can be cloaked in lots of technical languages, so keeping it relatable across stakeholders that aren't fully engaged in SEO, facilitates a better buy-in to the process.

Are there any areas for improvement?

To be honest, now, Ari and his team are approachable, knowledgeable, and deliver results. What's not to like on that. I high recommend Big Pond.
