We’re a digital product agency in Portland, Oregon. I’m the COO.

What challenge were you trying to address with BGO CPAs?

We haven’t officially hired their team, but we’ve used them for consulting purposes.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

It’s been fairly straightforward up to this point. I’ve built a relationship with the owner of the company. He always makes himself available to answer any questions I have. They tactfully address issues as they come up. At this point, we’ve been looking to switch our primary accountancy provider. They’ve only been consulting so far, but that may change in the future. 

What is the team composition?

I’ve been working with two of their team members.

How did you come to work with BGO CPAs?

I was introduced to their owner through a mutual connection, and he struck me as very knowledgeable.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent under $25,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2018 and still collaborate now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve been very helpful in a myriad of tax concerns we’ve had for our company. They’re always very knowledgeable. The advice and guidance have always been spot-on.  

How did BGO CPAs perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate with them about once every quarter. They’ve always been timely.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They bring a deep breadth of knowledge to the table, understanding all the tax codes and opportunities. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything at this point.
