I’m the CEO of Omega Partners, an IT consulting company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Outcrowd Studio?

We engaged Outcrowd Studio to build a compelling web presence, which we planned to implement alongside our company name change. The design needed to speak for itself and tell our story to potential clients.

What were your goals for this project?

They needed to deliver a new UI/UX design and logotype for our website.

How did you select this vendor?

We researched portfolios on Dribbble. We looked for a vendor that could provide a modern and progressive web design.

Describe the project in detail.

We did a Skype session with the project manager to explain our design brief in more detail. During the subsequent back and forth, we stressed our wish to not fall into a design waterfall. We expected quick sketches of their ideas before receiving final delivery for the designs.

What was the team composition?

We worked with one designer and one project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We did not receive any files or final designs. They did not adhere to our preferred workflow. Furthermore, Outcrowd Studio’s ideation did not align with the sub-par quality of their designs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team—including senior leadership—was unresponsive via email and Skype. The project manager acted as an intermediary between our team and the designers. Given the team’s limited communication skills, we did not find this arrangement conducive to a successful partnership.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could improve their communication skills, design ideas, and quality of support.
