Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a nonprofit that is working to change the experience and outcomes for kids in foster care in Colorado. I am the director of the Colorado state chapter.

For what projects/services did your company hire Beardman Design ?

We needed to relaunch our social media as we had staff transitions and a new mission statement etc. Beardman design helped us get our branding together and the technical behind the scenes of our social media. Beardman helped us get set up with tools to streamline our posting on multiple platforms.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I know Tyson and followed him on social media for awhile. I saw his posts about Beardman Design and when I was in need of help I reached out to him.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We met virtually and talked about the needs of my organization. Beardman helped us brainstorm and problem solve. Then they designed a few new logos for us. Taught us how to use tools to post on social media and see the backside insights on what is working and getting attention etc. They also helped us streamline the look of our fundraising materials for print and online.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with 1 person, Tyson. He is the founder/owner of Beardman Design.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our following on Facebook and Instagram grew in a short period of time. Now that we have a plan for posting and using the tools available we are more consistent in our social media which helps us to create the broad awareness we want to make.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was easy to communicate with Tyson and we had a good easy workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was very easy, friendly and personalized. Which was very helpful as we were working to relaunch our social media during a busy season with lots of other things going on for our organization.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of anything right now. Tyson did a great job of responding well to me when I critiqued the logos he made and asked for changes.

Needed a brand redesign, a basic web platform, but most importantly, directing social media and internet traffic

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Beardman was recommended by a mutual friend. It began with some simple rebranding and ideas. However, he later designed a web platform and helped direct web traffic to social media posts. One such post garnered over 35k likes in less than 2 days.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

We worked together to create a logo incorporating concepts which were primary to the brand creation. Secondly we created the website to help direct traffic to me and to add social media images to those searches as well. Finally we worked together on campaigns to help increase brand awareness and increase business in general.

As earlier described, there have been several campaigns which received over 35k views each. This contributed to approximately 25 new projects within the first few months of opening.
